Cymas Posted March 11, 2018 Share Posted March 11, 2018 Yesterday I did not go out intending to tame one, but I came home with a high level yuty and proof that my trap works. I felt I had to tame him because of how badly my original two day yuty hunt went. I didn't tame anything else because I ended up stealing an ice wyvern egg and hatched that instead. Sharpshot879 Posted March 12, 2018 Share Posted March 12, 2018 I spawned in a while ago (2 weeks) on rag and found a unconscious Rex 145 and some scorpions, killed them and got meat (I was lvl 1) so I got extremely lucky and gained a 245 (levelled) Rex Yay! Cymas Posted March 14, 2018 Share Posted March 14, 2018 (Yesterday, shh) Started fresh on a new server. Tamed a para. Para lived for almost the entire afternoon. Para died. Attempted to tame two trikes. Dilos got too close, KO'd and tamed both. A raptor ate both trikes. Tamed the raptor. One dilo died to an alpha raptor. Tamed a new trike. Trike died to a different alpha raptor. Turns out you have to be at least be a good level to successfully fight them off with a trike, which is possible due to their knockback, but less possible when you don't have enough stamina to last the fight... Total tally: 6 animals tamed, 2 lived. I no longer own the dilo as I didn't feel like wasting mats on a ramp just for it to get on my raft. Left it unclaimed, so now it's just me and the raptor for now. Assuming she's still alive by the time I can play next. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
