ClanTKC
Hello. So I have 3 Beelzebufo's, a male and two females. I have them submerged in my water pen and a Oviraptor nearby giving the egg buff. The problem is, they NEVER seem to lay eggs. Is there a trick to it? Do they need to be in deeper water (they are in about 6-8 ft of water right now). I haven't had an issue with any other dino's, but the frogs just want put out.

I'm pretty sure they only lay eggs when breeding. Otherwise, they just chill and do frog things.

Wildcard Community Eli Posted March 9, 2018 Wildcard Community Share Posted March 9, 2018 They only lay fertilized eggs for breeding purposes.
ClanTKC
Ok.. that's 3 different people telling me they only lay fertilized eggs. Considering that and the fact that I haven't seen otherwise, I have to believe it's true. Thanks for the help.
DeningWei
They never used to lay any eggs until the aquatic breeding was introduced. A bit like how arthros dont lay eggs now because there is no arthropod breeding.
Niphead
Their eggs are not used for any kibble anyway so why would you even want any non fert eggs?

FlyinJapman4
Beezles only lay eggs when breeding. Amphibians aren't chickens. They don't just crap out dead eggs. It's unlikely that dinosaurs did either, but for gameplay sake they do. I don't think there is even a kibble for Beezle eggs yet.

Yeah I was under the impression they were used for kibble but found and this evening that they aren't. So, it doesn't really matter after all. hah
