Keeping Track of Dino Stats

So, I'm curious what methods do you all use to keep track of your dinos stats? I use to write it down, but that took a lot of time, so I started using a spreadsheet, but I didn't like having to exit the game to record the stats of new tames, so I switched to using the Ark Dino Stats app for iPhone, which is what I'm using currently. How do you guys keep track of what dinos are best to breed?

I normally use a spreadsheet. It is very customizable and you can color code the values as well as set a key to help distinguish mutations, your best, stats, different breedlines, etc.

Ark SmartBreeder is another good option that has a lot of functions and is very popular.

I used to simply name them in-game to know their stats and mutations on the spot:

I don’t own a computer or working laptop, so I just make inventory folders containing the stats on the bred creature e.g. H xxx, S xxx, O xxx, F xxx, W xxx, M xxx

Then I name them (level) (gender) (mat mut/pat mut) e.g. L271 M 10/10.

I used this method as well as the naming trick, keeps it in game and easy to look back at

I take photos with my phone and keep albums by species...that way I have name, gender and stats in a convenient place. 

I’m still excited about the ancestry function in-game...that was way more of a hassle to keep track of.
