spiritpaw
Actually you might want to reconsider the Brontosaurus an Apatasaurus thing.Eh? Did you mean to quote me? Not sure what you are saying sorry [emoji4] I don't mind at all that the brontosaurus is not accurate. I love it's size and name.... We could just call it a long neck, Harken from the days of my childhood when brontosaurus was considered real. Geesh I think I'm getting old [emoji23] I do think it needs some TLC though. Or a lot. Model and abilities.

ZackTownsend
Guys, you know the raptor is based on the velociraptor, right? It’s based on the Utahraptor. If you are comparing it to the velociraptor, you’re wrong. I heard that the devs are adding a velociraptor though.
Darkprince388
The raptor. Is it reeeeally going to stalk us. Or just jump and say hay, fooood. And them just run at us. And please ad an ability of line of sight to all dinos as to if they don't see or sense us they do just automatically know we are ther. That would give us a fair advantage to all the new abilities coming out for the predators. And be 100 percent realistic.

Anasaze
I really hope you guys don't just focus on carnivores for TLC 2. I think some of the herbivores need a revamp as well like the Trike and Parasaur. If nothing else just a nice visual update to bring them up to par with TLC 1 and the newer dinos. All you guys have done so far in terms of TLC has been pretty good so far imo
Lycanite
The new Raptor still looks stupid IMO. It's unnatural, they should either give it realistic full body feathers or they should go full Jurassic Park lizard, this in between thing looks like it's had most of its feathers plucked off and is only slightly better than the original (eyes aren't as derpy but mouth still goofy looking). They're putting in a huge amount of effort with this TLC stuff and the other redesigns have been amazing but to me this one still feels like it's caught up in peer pressure and is torn between two different designs. I know all species in ARK are their own thing but this isn't a blend of genes, this is just deforming something. This is 1000x better and the direction they should have went: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1146018267 Or even this is a bit better as at least it fully embraces the inaccurate lizard design: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=944224365
Melicurus
Oh my! Loving the argy update. It looks cool! My only issue is that I love MY argy. Will he be getting a make over too or will he be left feeling super insecure about his dated looks? Poor Birdman.

AcexHellhound21
Please add Velociraptors into ark and maybe the ultimate dino Indominus Rex "Archaeornithomimus" from Jurassic World

Heck, at one point some sceintists thought raptors to be secondarily flightless birds, though they were in minority. We have a fossil record of feathered dinosaurs, and even a feathered dinosaur tail in amber. We have such detailed feather fossils, that we actually know what color Microraptors, and a few other dinos, were. I call BS. Show the ‘scientific’ proof that isn’t just using imagination. By the way, might be good to look up ‘science’ first.

SC0RPI0
With the raptor's improved feathers and overall usefulness, a great addition to the Raptors would be the ability of "Wing-Assisted Incline Running". Basically, this would allow the raptor to run up steep mountainsides by flapping its wings. It's wildly accepted by scientist that Utahraptors and other feathered dromaeosaurids were able to do this, plus it would make the Raptor much more useful and realistic in-game. However, as you asked, here are some links to proof of feathered dinosaurs (that, we all know, gave birth to birds. That have feathers). All were easily found with Google, and these include the amber I was talking about. https://www.quora.com/Is-there-any-scientific-evidence-of-dinosaurs-having-feathers https://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2010/01/100127-dinosaur-feathers-colors-nature/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dinosaur_coloration https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yutyrannus https://observationdeck.kinja.com/a-comprehensive-guide-to-dinosaur-feathers-and-scales-1603368757 http://www.eartharchives.org/articles/the-swimming-raptor-of-mongolia/ https://www.seeker.com/new-giant-raptor-the-largest-ever-with-wing-feathers-1770432223.html http://www.icr.org/article/do-quill-knobs-show-dino-bird-evolution/ We also have feathers, or feather-like filaments, showing up in non-Theropod lineages, such as Ceratopsians, though this is more circumstancial. There is so far no evidense of feathers in lineages like Hadrosaurs or Sauropods. I hope that is enough information to satisfy you, and you read through it all. Please feel free to provide me evidence of Raptors lacking feathers.

I agree on the incline running. It would make early game metal and crystal gathering safer, and help run away from surprise predators (I'm looking at you, Giganoto-out-of-nowhere-while-I'm-gathering-metal)
