AnnabelTamara
Hi, does kibble have to be made from fertilised eggs from breeding your own dinos or can they be wild grabbed? And am I correct in thinking you can’t incubate and hatch wild eggs? Just eat them? :-)
MrWayneCarnage
Kibble is made from both types, but recommended to use non fertile eggs, as using fertile eggs take alot of time
Royalstar
Kibble can be made from: non-fertilized wild eggs, non fertilized tame’s eggs, and fertilized tame’s eggs. And yes, wild eggs can’t be hatched. Only exceptions: wyvern eggs and rock drake eggs.
AnnabelTamara
And here was me planning on having to tame so many animals to get eggs in order to make kibble! :-) thanks.
DarkSoul996
You still do. To get a consistent supply of eggs you'll need at least a couple of females for each kibble type then you'll want a male for each to give them a mate boost and then an oviraptor as well. GerbilRex
Honestly, if you want kibble but don't have the things needed to tame some larger creatures, it's possible to make a kibble farm by trapping wild animals, though tamed ones are far more convenient. Hakush
Both non-fertilized as well as fertilized eggs can be turned into kibble.
LocoNaarf
you can use both types
noodaboy
In PVE, If you want rex eggs, dont make a rex farm. Simply head to the nearest Obelisk and you will find lotsa parked rexes there laying eggs every hour. I never cooked any meat, I just simply swipe these eggs. 1 rex eggs will fill your hunger instantly. Ark Survival Hobo
FlyinJapman4
It would be a very unused system if people had to breed tames to get eggs for kibbles. It's better to have a mate boosted pair near a wandering Oviraptor. Of course, there's no guarantee they will even lay as frequently as you would like with an Ovi around. Titanoboas, however, you need fertilized eggs to tame. As well as eggs to feed them. So if you want a snake (and it's really more for having a cool pet than a practical tame), you need a lot of egg laying tames and an Ovi.
