We are looking for new and friendly faces to come over and ARK with us! This PVE cluster is focused on letting the players have fun and play ARK the way they want without worrying about losing everything. The cluster consists of The Island, Ragnarok, and Aberration. The current rates on the servers are as follows: Taming 5x Harvest 5x Exp 3.5x Hatching/Maturation 10x Other minor .ini tweaks: Exp scaling rework. Because the cluster runs aberration and the cap is 85, I made a custom level scaling that reduces the overall grind to 100, but also keeps the levels coming more consistently rather than hitting a brick wall at the later levels. There are other minor tweaks. If you would like to know, feel free to ask if something has been changed. Rules: I've kept the rules light, and they are more common sense and courtesty rules. They are as follows: 1.) Base limit of 5 bases per tribe. We feel this is necessary for the sake of fresh faces coming to the server. We want everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy building in all the beautiful spots in ARK, and it’s a huge buzzkill if all the pretty spots end up being taken by one tribe. It makes the server look less appealing to new players. If you have a large tribe and want to build in more than 5 spots, we will have to ask you to split up into different tribes please. 2.) No pillaring to claim spots to build. Pillaring will not be tolerated, and if you find pillars spammed anywhere, let an admin know and we will take care of the issue, and the tribe that placed them will be given a warning. Real estate is on a first come first server basis. If you want it, build on it. 3.) Try to avoid building on massive deposits of rare resources, such as crystal, obsidian, metal, etc. I have already reduced the respawn radius of resources compared to player structures, so if you block a lot of resources, you’re way too close. Blocking a metal rock here or there is not as much of a big deal as the other resources, but if it becomes to excessive, we will have to ask you to move. 4.) When it comes to replacing dinos and other resources, we have some groundrules. If you can send admins VALID and solid proof that dinos have died for no apparent reason, we will be happy to replace them. Unfortunately, bred dinos cannot be replaced, neither can wyverns or rockdrakes. When it comes to replacing lost resources, it will most likely not happen unless it is an extreme case and is agreed upon by the admin team. Also, if you use a game or mod bug to build a certain way, and that bug gets patched, we will not be replacing any structure loss. It’s called a bug for a reason, don’t abuse it and expect to be reimbursed when it gets fixed or changed. 5: Please breed responsibly. Another killer of server performance that we all know of is excessive amounts of our favorite dino buddies. I will never implement or am a fan of enforcing dino limits via ACTUALLY making a hard cap through ini files. All we ask is that you breed responsibly. I know mass breeding exists, especially for boss fights and your rexes. Trust me, I've done it, so I understand. But if you have a bunch of non active dinos that you no longer use because you have the mutation you've been looking for (cough use the s+ mutator cough it helps), please cull your herd of dinos you will no longer be using(I suggest mass baby slaughter via euthanasia gun. It's my favorite pasttime). It saves alot of loading time and boosts server performance when we all pitch in to help it run smooth. If I have piqued your interest at all, I'd love to see you join us!
