Jrny Posted January 5, 2018 Share Posted January 5, 2018 I placed a fireplace against a 2 high stone wall and now when I try to add the ceiling above the fireplace it says the ceiling is obstructed and won't let me add it. Do you have to place the ceiling first before the fireplace? Any work around for this as I really don't want to have to demolish my fireplace and start over... ehuhoser Posted January 6, 2018 Share Posted January 6, 2018 yes you have to add the roof/ceiling first ....the fireplace can then clip into it via its smoke stack etc...otherwise you would have to have no clip enabled on a server if rented.
