Gerwarp Posted December 19, 2017 Share Posted December 19, 2017 They have buffed manticore so it is no longer a case of getting it stuck with rexes over and over again, generally I do like the challenge but my tribe is busy with aberration right now to focus on killing it and I really need element on Scorched to power my tek troughs that right now are just gathering dust, so I was kind of wondering if anyone who has one it would know of any ways to take it down fairly easily? Wazzamaniac Posted December 19, 2017 Share Posted December 19, 2017 Rexes still work. I would suggest getting good eggs and pumping every single point in melee. Manticore does weak damage, and even with 4 golems pinning one of my rexes for half the fight it only lost like 6k out of 12k hp. With 800% melee or so you should be killing it consistently, but there is always the odd chance it chooses to not land, in which case bring backup guns. Always bring a yuty with you as it drains torpor from rexes and boosts your dmg. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
