What sounds more appealing, DLC or Game modes like SOTF(Battle Royal)?

That's the exact opposite of what both Jeremy & Jen have stated, so I wouldn't hold your breath. Dark & Light proved that Snail has no idea what they are doing in the PC gaming space.

I think with the varied maps and weapons we now have they could probably do alot more with it than in the past, so the way the battle would play out on an aberration based map will be largely different from one on a scorched or island map

What I would love to see is more game modes or offical content released for PvE, like arena arks where we could bring our animals and battle, akin to some of the match types pokemon had for multiplayer, things to really add some end game goals for us Pve'ers where we can breed for target events.
