Wildcard Community Eli Posted December 17, 2017 Wildcard Community Share Posted December 17, 2017 Without charge light to drive them off, nameless will keep congregating on a prey so long as they have an alpha to follow.

The glowing orange ones? I killed at least 17 by now, one of them just mutates and the whole dance keeps going
TheUglyPrince
the 'endless' can be quite a pain without a lantern pet, once you have one it's a bit easier to deal with... they take more damage when in a charge lights radius and tend to stay in the ground when they dive down. ClamsJager
Throw a couple of these down: https://ark.gamepedia.com/Charge_Lantern_(Aberration or hold onto it and feel like a Ghost Buster for a while.
ShinigamiGreed
Keep a lantern pet at all times. ALL TIMES. Set the "Light!" emote to [, replenish your glowing buddy with glowbugs (500 charge per bug) and charge stations, and level its charge stats. Especially capacity. Wazzamaniac
They dont really spawn when you have a charge buddy near you. if one does, its probably alone and one fire, and hides. When your pet runs low, but it on the ground and turn it off for a few seconds at a time, then turn it on. It lets it recharge, albeit slowly, without letting nameless spawn. I like to crank recharge rate way up on mine, and I never get any problems with nameless.

Same with having a glow pet follow, while on shoulder my glowpug keeps nameless spawns to 1 or 2 every 3 minutes, while following me i had to plow through a horde every minute, they still got weakened a lot though I wish aberrant otters had charge though
ayala205
Glow sticks do not stop nameless neither do regular lights, only the charge lanterns and light pets.
