ChargingParacerParacer
In early game they are a perfect distraction against tough wild predators. Line yourself up so that when you attack the phiomia it runs at/past the carnivore and kites it further away. They work better than parasaurs and Gallis always zigzagged too much to be reliable for me.
Sh4rk
They are great as a tag along for cave diving when you want to go on beetle taming sprees. Also a decent packmule for the early game when you are still using tools to gather resources, and their slowness keeps them from running up your butt on follow all the time like an iguanodon does Phio is faster than a trike but much less able to defend itself. Like your friend i wanted to breed them on pve, but the gestation is one of the highest so as a human i couldn't.
