flamron
Is this possible? Our ally has a replicator made. Can we put our element and mats in it and craft another replicator? I’ve heard we can’t, and don’t want to move that much material twice if I don’t have to.
Racidon
The option appears... so i dont see why not
flamron
I don’t believe it was possible on legacy which is where the question is coming from. I hope it does work, as I don’t want the dang mats to get stolen on the obelisk.
Midnight_
Well try it. I crafted mine at an obelisk. I just did a good job of being aware if anyone was around and I was as fast as I could be. I play PvE and my answer is geared for that....just FYI. You can also craft it at any drop. So if you know of a more remote drop location that is rarely visited that might be a safer option than obelisk, just make sure to use a fresh drop so as to limit the risk of it timing out while you are loading up the mats. Racidon
You can also use underwater crates or cave crates...
flamron
Thanks guys. I’m not looking forward to hauling almost 7k of mats. Lol Definitley not taking it to a drop or water drop with the risks. I’ll stick to an ob if the ally doesn’t work. Was just hoping someone had done it before to save me a trip. Volunteer Moderator ThzNutz Posted December 5, 2017 Volunteer Moderator Share Posted December 5, 2017 server mate wanted to use our replicator to make one, ended up had to haul it all to an oby -- the replicator option is in the replicator as if it could be crafted, but did not light up once all the resources were in its inventory. had to pack all the stuffz up to blue oby to make it. **on official legacy

That confirms my fears I believe. To the ob I guess... sigh...
Wazzamaniac
What we did is filled up a weight bronto with all the mats, then escorted it to a nearby drop. as soon as the drop hit, we had 3 people quickly shove all the mats from the bronto to the drop while someone else stood guard for intruders. Pick a drop that people are not likely to want, like a white drop.
flamron
We will just drop mats to a tribemate on the ob until all of them are on their body. Dropping each package individually eliminates the weight restrictions on characters.
Sh4rk
I don't recall having to make my spare replicator in the obby.... pretty sure I crafted it in a replicator I already placed. Was a while ago... damn thing has been sitting in my vault waiting to be used for months
yekrucifixion187
On legacy we did create a tek replicator in a tek replicator. How we did ob for the first one (on scorched) is we built out and down (don't think this is a thing anymore) from the Quetzal platform with only the opening being the hind legs and put Quetz directly over ob, then we parked a mantis at opening to block (PVE) then myself and tribe mate just simultaneously grabbed the mats and transferred all. It was a bit of a set up but security over all.
