FlyinJapman4
I've come to find spikes to be as useful as walls. I don't really know how they work, but the basic idea is that they deal damage back to whatever is damaging them. I think, anyways. Considering that Rexes stomp has damage properties, one would assume that the Rex would take damage when he steps into them. But I don't use spikes. Or play PvP. iEndWorlds
Would spikes be high enough to stop a giga? is my question lol

Also remember any rocks/boulders they can use as "steps" as well or even sometimes bounce off them. I don't know what servers y'all are on or anything but I play Single Player and I have the option to enable spike walls damaging. Default it is not checked. PaleoJoe
Spiked walls do not damage wild dinosaurs on PvE. You have to enable this feature if playing Single Player or hosting a server. Also, dinosaurs such as Rex and Spino can step over a spiked wall, so they are a poor form of protection (plus it hurts you).
