You can only move your character to Aberration, but you can transfer your character as well as any creatures tamed, resources collected (bar element), and structures crafted from Aberration. I believe it was said that no transfer in Aberration will be there for 6-8 weeks. The weather effects make it so you won't want to live there anyway It was said in streams from West Pax 2017 that you can live and build on aberration map. in beginning we could build mostly on clif platforms but in later game we will have ways how to mitigate dangers so we will be able to set permanent bases.
