Rinzler Posted November 5, 2017 Share Posted November 5, 2017 Hey Survivors I have played Ark originally on xbox now on PC for along time.. always on official servers and the occasional dedicated. I'm getting tired with the official set up of low xp rates, pillar bombed base locations etc list goes on. Also like the idea of some subtle mods.... So I am looking to host my own server however have no idea on how it works regards providers, I see Ark push for Nitrado but also see via Google there are many other providers! So a few questions... 1) Do Wildcard have a recommended list of providers so you know they are the real deal? or do they just back Nitrado... 2) Any recommendations on providers I am based in UK so one that has servers here and allows me to pay GBP is ideal! 3) Any starter recommendations? i.e have you found best to start a low server slot cap? and work up, do providers allow you to modify this? 4) How much freedom is there in hosting your own server? what can you modify regards rates - I am aware of normal mods like S+ talking more server settings. 5) How simple is it to modify and run yourself not owning a server before?
