What do I need to kill a dodorex? What other new creatures are spawning?

Will my bear with 6.5k health and 402% melee be enough or should I get my therizino out with 13.7k health and 500% melee and 90% imprint?

I'd rather take my bear out since it's much faster.

 

Other halloween creatures spawning that drop a skin or something special?

The Dodorex would absolutely murder both of those at the same time.

So only players with super dinos get a chance to get the loot? Would suck.

Pretty much. Takes a tribe usually to take it down. If you go head to head with it you are toast. It can destroy gigas and titans easily.

Can try to get it into the water to nullify it's fire attack and then eat with water dinos.

If memory serves, the Dodorex is a boss level creature and requires a group effort to take down.  I haven't gone after one myself so take that with a grain of salt, but I believe that is correct.

and who dont have a tribe, like, dual players? Impossible?

Asc Compound bows and assault rifles do lots of damage,  get it stuck somewhere by a cliff,  get your tribe to shoot it while others hit it with lightning wyverns( and maybe griffins they wasn't out last year).

Maybe a quetz with mini gun turret and lots of ammo,  whistle attack target on your boss rexs while you shoot it,  I don't know

Always remeber this video being shown of the forums of an official dodorex kill during a previous event. Far as i can see basically a server wide effort with a ton of bullets.

Is the dodorex in this event ?

Saw some vids last year about using a bunch of turrets and kiting it in there.

Seemed a bit costly to bother to try myself though.
