tylander Posted October 27, 2017 Share Posted October 27, 2017 I have 2 Xboxs currently one running a private server for my friends, and I have been trying to find more detailed information on the upcoming Xbox one X and running it as a server. From what I have seen it will be able to run the server AND play the game at the same time. What will be the performance of the game while doing this? Would it be better just to use my Xbox slim as the server AND play on the Xbox one X? Obviously running the server on the One X would be better for server performance but then would playing on the slim would reduce my actual performance from gameplay? Also with the play anywhere coming soon, will i actually be able to use my pc as the server then play on my One X which would be my best option since I have quite a powerful gaming PC. I KNOW it was a bit long but just trying to pin down some information on this. I know certain features will be available but no one talks about how it will run during these different set ups. jessy Posted December 13, 2017 Share Posted December 13, 2017 I dont think you will be able to play and host at the same time on the same console even if its the one X. But you can host it whit your PC i just find a way to download it from the store tooday even if they said it will be out to playanywhere tomorow. just ask if you need help whit that cause it wasnt that easy.
