Auzy4554
So I heard you can incubate eggs with campfires. Am I doing something wrong in the picture?
Cowgirl
No, but dragons require a lot of heat (so you might need more, IDK), also I don't know if the babies might die by touching the fires. I have hatched eggs with fires and been ok, but not a complete circle of them like that.
Majix
More fire needed. Standing Torches are more easier to work with imo.
Bloodwing1976
Yes standing torches work better but will still need atleast 12 of them for a wyvern and watch out after the baby is born...they can die if they glitch over the flames of campfires or torches....happened to me once. Sh4rk
Campfires are too big and provide the same effect as standing torches, so you can fit more standing torches in the same area used by campfires. Wyvern eggs require a lot of heat, so use somewhere between 15-25 standing torches (in a circle) depending on your region and temperature. The nice thing about using standing torches for incubating wyvern eggs, is that wyvern eggs have a very high heat threshold, so you can safely light about 5 more torches than necessary to get the incubation started. In fact, it is better to do so, to compensate for any drop in your regions temperature. Also, if you use thatch for torch fuel, you can add just enough thatch to each torch to have them stay lit for just under the amount of time needed to fully incubate the egg (if your plan is to only pre-incubate the egg that is). 180 thatch per torch will hatch the egg, so use 170-175 thatch, that way the torches will go out just before the egg hatches, and you don't need worry so much about grabbing the egg in time before it pops. PuffyPony
For Wyvern Eggs, you need somewhere in the ballpark of 15-20 campfires, or slightly fewer Standing Torches because they can squish into a smaller space (I think I managed 12 on Scorched Earth). Most eggs won't need more than a few campfires
