Then Rise of Kings is the server for you!   
   
   
Rise of Kings has been established for over a year now, with a great community of both experienced and greenhorn Roleplayers. Empires have risen and fallen over the seasons, with each season bringing a different or building Lore that encourages and enriches excellent Roleplay.    
   
   
Whether you're just starting out, or are a seasoned Roleplayer, we at Rise of Kings welcome all to come and give our server a go!  
   
   
This is a fantasy server, and so we have different races that each player can roleplay as. There are the core races that have accompanying potions that provide a stat buff to certain stats based on race. These are Human, Elf, Drow, Orc, Halfling, Dwarf, and Goblin. But you don't necessarily have to limit yourself to those choices either! With admin permission, we have had players introduce sub-races such as Pixies, Hill Giants, Merfolk, and Gnolls. There are so many possibilities!   
   
   
Rise of Kings is also a medieval-based server. This means that there are no tek-tier or metal-tier items like guns or electric structures. It isn't quite Primitive Plus, but a custom created server setting. We also have an array of great mods for the server that help enhance the medieval-feel of the land, such as Medieval Props and Advanced Rafts items (some removed). It is recommended that you subscribe and download all of these mods prior to attempting to join the server. Doing otherwise has caused issues for new players in the past.   
   
    
The rates on Rise of Kings are modest, but not quite vanilla. This is to make things slightly easier for starting out. We want people to be able to get out and Roleplay while still giving players a fun and engaging challenge. The rates for the server are as follows:   
   
   
      -XP: 3
      -Taming: 4 
      -Consumption: 1
      -Gathering: 4
      -Breeding: 4
      -Egg Hatch/Mature: 4
      -Breeding Interval: 1
      -Max Dino per tribe: 150
      -Max Wild Dino level: 90
   
   
Rise of Kings is famously a No-Flier server. This means that you cannot tame or ride things like Argents and Pteras. Certain dinos are also disabled for more ease of play. The disabled/untameable dinos are listed as follows:

              -Titanosaurs   
              -Brontos   
              -Leeds   
          -Purlovia      
      Untameable
              -Pteras
              -Wyverns   
              -Pelagornis   
   
   
The server also has Global Chat disabled. This is to prevent Meta-Gaming and encourage more In-Character, face-to-face interaction.
