Grappling hook a wyvern

Are you able to attach a hook to a flying dino and attack it without it breaking?

never tried on a wyvern but it used to be like the hook brakes when the flyer u grapple onto starts fleeing or attacking

Assuming it is an unmounted wild dino, the grapple will break as soon as the dino takes damage.

You can't grapple it at all once it's aggroed. Chain Bola and a trap would work better

How much of a tough guy are you?  Are you not afraid to die or lose a dino?  Try mounting the front seat of your tappy, then whistling attack target on the wyvern.  You'll be able to shoot while the tappy tries to engage.  Better be good at the whistle group commands tho or you'll end up flying in weird circles.  Oh and that breath stuff will prolly kill ya.  Better go for poison wyverns and wear a gas mask.
