spoop Posted September 25, 2017 Share Posted September 25, 2017 I have been running a dedicated server hosted by me for a few friends for a while now. However no matter what the actual server admin password is i can never use the enablecheats command to give myself those privileges. If anyone has an idea on how to correct this i'm all ears. Fact is that that command makes you able to use the cheat commands. You can add your steamID to the \ShooterGame\Saved\AllowedCheaterSteamIDs.txt file, which will enable cheats/admin priviedge to you without the password. Just use the Admin Manager to make your account an Admin, and then you just have to use 'cheat' before any command. Other players will not be able to use commands. Have been using the console and to make it even weirder i created the txt file and used my steam 64 id as it was asked for to no avail. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest BubbaCrawfish Posted September 26, 2017 Share Posted September 26, 2017 I'd clear out everything and start a fresh to ensure there's not like 2 versions of the server package installed and you're using one, without knowing you are using the other.
