Supaciv Posted September 17, 2017 Share Posted September 17, 2017 Ok so we tamed a doedi last night and went out with our quetz for a obsidian run, and guess what, we only collected stone.... did I miss something, since when does the doedi not collect obsidian? Rintrahhh Posted September 18, 2017 Share Posted September 18, 2017 I use my doed on Ragnarok to harvest obsidia and it works. I found an area that has about 10 obsidian rocks. KingGalahad Posted September 19, 2017 Share Posted September 19, 2017 There are two types of obsidian nodes. One type that is harvestable with a doed, and one type that is not. Most of the obsidian around Frozen Tooth on the island map is harvestable with the doed. From what I have found on raganarok is that there is a fairly good mix of both types (with nearly all the obsidian in the hidden metal cave being harvestable with doed.) Unfortunately for Center map players, it appears that the creator of that map only used the obsidian that isn't harvestable with a doed. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Wallbuilder Posted September 19, 2017 Share Posted September 19, 2017 Like metal rocks there are "pure" and "impure" nodes. Pure metal nodes give far more metal than regular impure ones and pure obsidian nodes work the same, giving far more obsidian but notably 0 metal at all.
