ARK Digest Q&A: Aberration Questions!

Hey Survivors,

For an upcoming version of the ARK Digest, we thought it would be good to see if the community had any questions about Aberration that we haven't answered yet. Obviously, we won't be answering everything, that would ruin the surprise :P ! And of course, the regular digest rule applies regarding ETAs ;) . However, if you have more than 3 questions, feel free to ask them, as this is a more specific topic area, we'll take as many as you want to give.

can we transfer the new  creatures to the other maps like we can on se to the island or will they be lock to the new map only,

will there be and new tek   only unlockable on the new map

will the current pre acssion level cap be rise  or more point per level so we can get the new items easyer online

can we look forward to new dino not just creatures 

will there be a new map boss

How useful a role will regular land animals with no climbing dynamics be in moving about? Will we be able to go from one biome to the next without needing to switch to a more mobile creature like the showcased rock drake? Or will there be geographical limitations that necessitate adding all-terrain creatures to our arsenals and adapting to the topography?

How will earthquakes change the way players build their bases and raise their dinos? Are the earthquakes capable of damaging structures and, if so, are there any ways we can mitigate these effects?

How will radiation affect the way players explore and how will hazard suits work with the system? Will there be any strange creatures that survive, and possibly even thrive, in radiation zones? Is the radiation solely on the surface, or will we encounter some underground, as well?

Will some catastrophes (i.e. earthquakes and gas leaks) be limited to certain biomes or will we need to prepare for those possibilities in even the quietest of zones?

Hi there developers, I got some lovely questions for you.

 

1. Will Aberration feature smaller tribe limits? The current limit is 70 which many players agree is incredibly unbalanced and does not foster competitive PVP.

2. While it looks nice in the trailer, will the zipline and mountain climbing have any practical use given that players can just use a flyer to do the same thing with less effort and probably less expense.

3. Will Aberration address the long standing issue of players being able to build over drivers on platform dinos. Similarly will it be adding anymore platform capable dinos/aliens/monsters

4. Will Aberration feature anymore siege weapons or turret/defensive structures?

5. Will Aberration add anymore melee weapons or non hit scan ranged weapons?

In Hardcore, if structures have no owners, can their demolish timers start instantly (if we're not doing structure claiming) so that we don't have incredibly difficult-to-remove structures about which no one can do anything for weeks?  Now that's what I'd call an Aberration feature.
