Demigod Posted September 15, 2017 Share Posted September 15, 2017 how useful is the shield in official servers? does it serve a benefit to PVP over PVE? i've never had the opportunity to craft one, or even learn the engram because i wasn't sure of how useful it would be. Shield is ok for certain cave runs on PVE. Instead of losing your armor from the first centipede spit you lose the shield instead giving you a chance to kill it with a sword or pike if you are fast enough to switch. It stops titanboa's, dilo spit, and absorbs some hits from anything that attacks from the front. I'd have to see what my ASC riot Shield BP's durability is but I haven't made it yet so don't know off top of head. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
