So 2 weeks in: Whats your new Official server like?

Already level 99 (Almost 100, 30k xp away), have high level gigas, triple digit turrets up, just tamed a Quetz with a high end weight stat (even for legacy).

 

All in all pretty good so far

My experience? Hmm

Refresh, full refresh, full refresh full... (Repeat for 30min until you get on)

Get on tame, build, good fun, Build Metal base 8 turrets are one day plenty of dinos, log off....

Wake up the next day and Chinese alpha tribe on EU wipes you completely..... Sigh... Rince and repeat

Game used to be amazing but now, too few servers, EU, Asia, NA, OC cross transfer, Breeding x2 after one week???? (This only helps mega tribes)

It's the same as it was before the wipe since WC have failed to address the core issues affecting PVP servers namely that large tribes with excessive numbers are  able to dominate every server with ease. As a result what should be PVP servers turn into passive PVE servers where no one actually does PVP since they can't hope to compete.

the server I play on is pretty good, highest survivor count it ever reached was 31. Everybody is minding their own business ( Doesn't mean you won't get raided). No spikes in spawn locations and no pillars littering the island. I'm pretty pleased.

Not glitch-free.

Not rubberband-free.

Rumor is some servers are not even duping-free.

So basically it's starting to feel like my old legacy server, although the level of lag and glitches there was beyond horrible.
