SirLeche
Good day fellow ark players! I've been playing on ragnarok pve and have had a alarming amount of leedsichthys attacks right next to the shore. Im afraid of not hugging the shore everytime i drve a raft. I think this might be because of very sharp dropoffs around the coast line. Has anyone else had problems with the over-sized tuna? Pic related (They're using trees as camouflage now!) soulie
I've seen quite a few in shallow waters but I thought it was always like that? at least for the few weeks I've been playing. Some even go into the canyon river or in viking bay
SirLeche
i ironically never had attacks on the center map so it was quite surprising to see one teething on my boat when i was touching distance from the shore.
soulie
Leeds will actively try and destroy rafts so from the distances i see them underwater to the shore I don't doubt it
Jabnlab
Yeah i see them all the time in and around viking bay, nice easy xp for my sharks when they are in shallow water, lol...but I dont dare take a raft anywhere
Dobraine
Yeah lately have seem to be spawning in more and more shallow areas, found a few stuck on beaches.
Majorpaynedof
I actually found a alpha beached near viking bay and one in the middle of it.
SirLeche
so today i saw a leed in a fresh water river. No joke! the rest of the area was waste deep and the leed was in about 8 feet of water. WHY

Patouski
For as long as I've been playing Ragnarok on PC (3-4 weeks), I've seen them spawn in such shallow waters consistently. Even had one spawn in shallow waters in between Viking Bay and the Blue Pillar. It's not odd to find one or two Dolphins there, but that one... was a first. Easy freaking EXP and Fish meat. Tukachev
On Ragnarok close to the Southwestern shores. According to tribemate even an alpha was around in the shallows.
SirLeche
they really need to get to fixing the spawns then. Like i said i think they need to slope the beaches so the drop off isnt right next to the shore.
Gravex
I have noticed this but it's gotten better and it's seems like I saw it more on the center map
