FantasticGuy1
My friends on Xbox one and PC are pretty excited for the cross play feature coming soon for the Windows 10 version of the game, but before I buy it I'd like to ask a few questions. 1.) Are the graphics or performance downgraded from the Steam version? 2.) Does hosting a server on PC/Xbox increase/decrease server performance? 3.) Do I need to pay for Xbox live on PC to play with friends on Xbox? 4.) Is local split-screen on the Windows 10 version? Thanks!
ehuhoser
It will be rare for WC to respond on the forums so I'll try to speculate some to help you out. But you would need an answer from @Jat or @Jen or higher up to confirm the build capabilities. 1. Unsure, but mostly cross play versions are just ported xbox versions of the game to windows 10 however I do know that they have better settings coming up for xbox one x so makes sense to believe that ya the performance and graphics will be better than Xbox One version, but......steam version is better in many respects I think, not only for support, but content updates as well. 2. Xbox is not a good handle for server performance and while you can do it, its not advised for the best experience. Windows 10 pc hosted would be a better option or rented server hosting it. 3. yes xbox live is always needed to play games via windows 10 and xbox etc. 4. Unknown since that version does not come out until mid next month sometime
powerstuck
In all honesty, given how this company stays true to its word (THEY DON'T) I would wait till September 15th (or what ever date they delay it to) and see what others say. That will be your only and best option if you don't wanna spend 100s of $$$ into nothing.
