Are you talking about the trading situation? Not knocking your reply...and that guy sounds like English may be his 2nd language idk...but there needs to be an actual trading post or an option in the obelisk so you can safely trade...hmm gonna post that in the game suggestions lol..brb

Trading was once going to be a thing, well at least in prim+ and the "core" game which would mean in all versions from how I read it, but seems like they bit off more than they could chew as I don't see any mention of it anymore. :(

Why should trades be safe?

It would be nice to implement a trading system like wow. That would be awesome.

even though someone will try to build a base around the trading post. Too many bad people playing the game

I assumed this was an inventory like thing, think tribe manager, engrams ui/etc, rather than an actual location.  But yeah, if it were an actual in game place that'd be trolled big time.

pfffffffff what a load of bull crap you just write there good sir. What you just write doesn't just sound like poop it smell true my screen Poop.

Am gonna tell you what motivate the DEV more than anything else and it not your fk Disney Movie alright. ITS MONEY. Every body know it in there heart ,

I think scorched earth was an awful xpack out of a game that was not yet release.I would refund scorched earth and buy Ragnarok for 25$ .  BUT THE DEV THINK THAT SCORCH WAS GOOD BECAUSE IT MADE GOOD MONEY . If you autorise people that play on scorch to transfer there stuff to island and center but block everything from going in scorch Map well that might force people to buy your stupid x-pack.

I hate people like you that believe in fairy tale. Feel like you need a rude awakening.

Haha easy there rockstar.

Of course they are in it to make money. That's an obvious point. They are a business after all. But perhaps their goal is not to make money by deliberately deceiving people and screwing players by releasing poorly timed patches.

My suggestion is that they maybe are trying to make money by doing a good job.  -but I really liked the Scorched Earth pack and it was EASILY worth $20.

*Now where did my tinfoil hat go....? I'm sure I left it here somewhere.....

/me put tinfoil hat on

My theory is they are making the game in a way to force you to log almost everyday, boosting artificially the player attendanceon a chart so that their investor wont pull the plug on them. Also the grind is just gonna get worse in order to over time, create a demand for perks and microtransactions like some korean mmos have.

/me remove tinfoil hat

worst is i do beleive this is somewhat their longer term plan

one of the mods is a actual trading house mod. you can look it up under sponsored mods. So im guessing this is why ced isn't talking about it anymore. Someone else working on it. Don't know if u looked at the possible mods coming from the sponsored mod program.

Well I haven't played Ragnarock yet, but yes I easily got my money's worth from it.

I just returned from a date with my wife. We spent about $18 on a cheap bite to eat and then spent $30 for two movie tickets, popcorn and pops. It was a fun way to spend 3.5 hours.

For SE (and Ark too for that matter) I spent $20 for many many more hours of fun on that map with my wife. We both enjoyed it, and we just started some new characters again. So... The answer is an unequivocal yes. Yes it was worth it and even with Ragnarock coming out, it was still worth it. It's really not a lot of money for the fun and challenge. I suppose if I was still a child and didn't have a job it might upset me if I saved my allowance and spent it on that, but hey, even that's a great life lesson and $20 well spent on learning.

It's about perspective. I have spent $35 total on Ark and SE. Again, I have EASILY gotten way more than I paid for. Even if Ark never did get fixed to a proper game, I've had so much fun with it that it was easily worth twice that. Even my wife loves it. So I will contribute to the bugs and suggestions forums, but I will not complain, whine,  or moan about the game because the reality is that I paid so little for it and have experienced a huge R.O.I.

Lol I just noticed the 1st post is gone wth

I think they have been slowly nerfing everything in attempt to make some players quit so there's less dinos and buildings on the maps to decrease the lag on servers. Also the new way dinos eat more while in stasis so more dinos starve (why don't they lay eggs too while in stasis). Idk...also I think the flyer nerf was an attempt to decrease disconnection issues and the map not rendering . While being covered up as a PvP fix. Lol just thoughts. Any1 else have consoiracy theories on nerfs and "fixes

Must have had to do with the color the original poster used.. Switch your theme to light you will see it.. No reason to necro a old thread

I've got a conspiracy...

What if... The Devs don't actually hate their player base. Wait, hear me out! What if the Devs actually care about the players, respect their opinions, listen to feedback and take the spread of input and weigh and balance that with the needs and desires to make and keep the game balanced? What if they take take time to consider nerfs and balances, trying to weigh the pros and cons before releasing? What if they know that some of changes will be hard for some players to adjust to, but despite knowing that the community will throw tantrum after tantrum, they decide to do what is ultimately best for the community and painfully bear the wrath just like a parent giving a child boundaries? What if they want to hit their eta's in the exact days and want to communicate better, but they are just humans and make mistakes? What if they are willing to hear feedback from nerfs and even reverse decisions to help the player experience? What if they are less interested in the whining entitled few, or the original players, and are actually looking for an amazing experience for future players on and beyond release? What if they are actually going to fix the remaining bugs and issues just like they said they would - after the content is added?

Come in... Anybody else think this is secretly the case despite what the masses seem to think?

That's my conspiracy theory.

May god have mercy on your soul if you believe this. There is no magical insurge of new players coming to this game. Where is this magical new player base with already 9 million copies sold you're not going to get much more.
