Jen Posted May 21, 2017 Share Posted May 21, 2017 Hey Survivors! In v257.56 which is now live on PC, we've updated the animation content of ARK to use "compressed" animations, which saves memory. However, this could potentially cause new animation glitches or even crashes. If you notice either of these -- something newly looking incorrect with the game's animations, or some animation crash -- please post it here and we will immediately investigate, as this is a high priority new change. thedogowl Posted May 22, 2017 Share Posted May 22, 2017 I didn't notice anything major but we started up on a new server yesterday and it felt like my spear throwing was a bit buggy, like the animation clipped and reset occasionally very quickly after starting. It looks like hes freezing/shivering to death. It does it while in the other animations on the player character too, but its not as noticeable. One thing I noticed yesterday that I haven't seen before: One of our spinos from the floor above was going halfway through the ceiling (that's nothing new) but had 3 of his legs all messed up because their feet seemed to be sticking to the floor above in an uncomfortable position. I played for around an hour and fifteen minute the first time, but I was just standing in my outpost doing Resource Crops conversions. The second time it happened within five minutes, when I left my base with an argent from Annunaki Genesis. I'm playing single player, on Ragnarok, with Annunaki Genesis, Dragons and Elite Creatures, S+, Reusable+, Pillars+, Resource stacks and Resource Crops. I hope this helps resolve the issue. They get 3/4 of the way through their stationary snake weave at rest animation and then snap to the start of it only to continue to jerk and twitch. Official PVP.
