What it essentially does is take precious time away from fixing bugs, some gamebreaking, some 3 years old. It then delegates time to an unneeded and unwanted feature.

Game released on Steam Early Access: 2nd June 2015.

Current date 20th May 2017.

Total time passed: Not even 2 years.

Because in your opinion Creative people (Art, Models, Textures) are surely the best choice for traversing Game's spaghetti code for bugfixing...

I can assure you they are not.

It’s not all bad news for anal emission lovers, however. While we were chatting about sea poop, Stieglitz also let slip that working toilets will be coming to Ark’s v258 update, currently scheduled to arrive on May 29. “How can you possibly consider your Tribe ‘civilized’ until it has indoor plumbing?!” he said.

To complement the toilet, a new poop-o-meter is being added to Ark’s HUD. When it appears, you know that your butthole is about to blow, so dash on over to your throne (which you hopefully had the foresight to connect to a water pipe), sit down, then press the ‘defecate’ key. When you’re done, stand up and flush, and your BM will be converted into a sizable quantity of compost. You’ll even get a special post-expulsion ‘refreshed’ status XP boost.

TOILET WHAAA!?

There's a toilet?

There will be one - it is in future patchnotes.

Suggestion:

The next thing we'll have (i hope): dino poop collector connected via pipes to Industrial Compost Bin (has to be irrigated separately). As a bonus feature - connect ICB to your gardening pipes or separate set of pipes for auto-fertilizing them (ICB acts as reservoir/dispenser for fertilizer akin to water reservoirs), drink from a tap of such a system to get poisoning effect.

lol maybe they are talking in game years. If that is the case I have a few survivor characters that have spent decades on this game in EA!!!!. But no in all seriousness, When you spend so much time in dynamic worlds building and playing a game its easy for months to feel like years. The grind is real and so is the time put in!

Because obviously every member of the devteam is only working on modelling and scripting new code and not everyone has a different task like graphic design, sound design, bugfixes and coding... And obviously entire team of WC sat down and made the WC (what a great pun). That's how game development works, right?

What a foolish statement...
