yeah but i have like 4 rafts, each with a specific purpose (one for taming, one for travel, one for moving materials back and forth, one for transporting dinos, etc) and I don't have the time nor the resources to build turreted docks for each one all over the map.

Well, now your rafts have only 1 specific purpose, to be eaten by a stupid moby-sausage-wanna-be fish with an attitude. Also, leed can break your raft even if its heavily protected from external attacks.

Ok, Lets go over this Flying Nerf..

1: its almost impossible to get wyvern eggs because you aren't fast enough to escape.

2: Farming with a queltz now is horrible because they need to land for stamina constantly.

3: For those of us who can get Wyverns or have one already you can use your poison/fire/lighting about 1-2 times before having to get more stamina. 

 

The Speed, and stamina nerf alone is going to make many players not play this game.  Including me and my friends.  

 

1 explosive per dino. (Bye C4 bombing)

i hate this patch so much because i have been hyped for underwater bases for the entire time they were first announced, and i didnt even know they were being released until today and i was so so happy about it

and then you ruin flyers, make it unbearable to move across the map, impossible to tame wyverns, and make wyverns not even worth the 4 days you need to go get milk for them(with tames that are 90% likely to die everytime you go to get milk, only ensuring to frustrate you) in the same patch

i wanted an underwater base, i really did, but if this change doesnt get reverted, its not even worth taming pteras or wyverns, and considering my entire set up is on scorched earth atm, i dont even care to play because all the travel i do is via flyers(and good luck doing metal runs on any of the land animals, youre better off loading yourself with metal and parachuting off the mountains back to your base)
you simultaneously added the thing ive been so hyped for for the entire 2k hours i have, and made me not want to play the game in the same patch(and the reason didnt even have to do with how you get underwater bases)

My bet is that it is an April fools troll by the devs ... Has anyone confirmed that the flyers have been nerfed?

Yes, they have been nerfed... hard.

Basically no flyers can level up movement speed, nor is imprinting giving any bonus to it. Also basically all their stamina pools went to hell, (e.g. my 1k stamina, lightning wyvern went down to 350 | 1400 stamina quetz went to 400-somethingish).

Seriously?  Of course its confirmed........the "game is ruined" comments are not about a hypothetical change.  I just spent over 1 hour flying 1/2 way accross the Center map and back.  Stopping at EVERY GD island to get stam and flying at half speed.  I run a private server with friends and the promises that there is a way to bypass this nerf are hollow so far.  My friends are all fed up and want to quit - its just too frustrating.  I have no problem with them adjusting the OP nature of the flyers - but they didn't do it right.  Each type of flyer and its utility and base stats should have been examined.  There should have been separate rules for PVP servers vs PVE since they face entirely different issues.  The MAP that the flyers on is RELEVANT - the Center is more flyer-dependent in some ways due to size, layout, physical land obstacles, etc.  The nerf needs to be UNDONE WildCard!  Perhaps - redone correctly after some analysis.

What I don't understand is why there isn't more alpha testing and feedback accumulation before making such a drastic change to existing functionality.  New features are great, but when you are going to change or remove features, its best to at least test them before putting them out there.  Yes, I know this is a "pre-release", but some customer feedback would have been a good idea here.  I predict a mass Exodus - and that's just sad - really loved this game, but not going to sink more money into a server with no enjoyment........

Good job youGood job you just made the flyer almost useless. We all love new content but i don't want take 10min to made 1/4 of the map and stop for take back stamina. It just makes the game slow and boring. I know why you do that, for pvp.

But I think you have not thought about the gameplay comfort. 

 

I really hope you will find another way to nerf flyer.

Hellow everybody! Could anyone explain to me, why all achievements on animals became by default, and  i cant return them how i want, my dragon had 235 speed and after update it is 100 speed, and i can return only 40 point to speed, What happend and why it was done?  thanks in advance

Patch 256 ill sum it up

The biggest foockk up of WC history in ark

- still no optimization

- more dinos that come with bugs

-1 duping method closed 4 new duping methods opened

- flying dinos (if you gonna nerf them do it but atleast refund the foockingpoints ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥)

-steam reviews (gonna be a thumbsdown by end of day)

- they want to make it more "survival" i thought that what extinction was about..

- new whale glitching under map on land killing dinos under map in bases while also draining turret bullets or xplant if set to wild.

-equus alpha tribes can put it in a pen and stop others spawning it or taming because only 1 spawn at a time

- eels still overpowered single handedly wiping mosas out... (but flyers need nerf kk)

- steam reviews was positive @ 81% the other day now 66% 

- There is a reason ARK is on sale its because WC devs just messed the game up soo bad all the original players are leaving.

- WC devs still ignore pve players

- underwater breeding bugged already and doesnt work.

- impossible to steal / get new wyvern fertilized eggs due to wild wyverns being too fast impossible to out fly them with ptera tapjera argie quets dragon and the you will die before you reach the wyvern trap.

- anyone who is angered by current patch please like all the posts that dont reccomend the game maybe steam/wcdevs will do something about it if they see the big decline in ratings and sales.


Conclusion - WC devs are clueless downies they have all the information infront of them of how to make ARK the best game ever

but instead they hire bob an expert ideas guy with experience in korean grinds and runescape that goes against everything ARK is about.

I love the new content really but that flyer nerf was really to hard, change it back to 50% or something like that, but nerfing the stamina AND the speed is just insane....
