Charlie12345 Posted March 27, 2017 Share Posted March 27, 2017 Getting badly bullied by an alpha tribe on the server. They have a reasonably unprotected sea base next to the coast. To take out high level land dinos, fire arrows seem a great method for lower level tribes (no gigas, wyvs, rexes). What is a good method for water tames? nicenicenicelaaa Posted March 27, 2017 Share Posted March 27, 2017 Depends on what tames they have, are they passive or neutral? if passive, just go there with a sword and slice em up. if neutral, try to lure them out of their pen or lure some wild fish ( eels/jellyfish work really well ) to them. just beware if they have a squid, it will do its ink spray when it gets low, even when on passive, which will drain all your stamina! Used an entire sword (until it busted) and their lvl 100 Plesiosaur and 3 rockets... didnt even get any blood appearing on the tame. With an ascendant saddle do they become pretty much invincible? nicenicenicelaaa Posted March 27, 2017 Share Posted March 27, 2017 I dont know about rockets because i play on primitive, but if you have a good sword and decent melee you should have no problems dismantling passive dinos. whats your sword dmg and your melee dmg? So if I mindwipe and say up my melee to 200% would that mean rather than 100 hits it would only take 50? Is that pretty much the calculation? You can test it on a training dummy, a primitive sword with 100% melee is pretty bad, if the dinos also have a saddle no wonder you dont do any damage Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
