15 Hours and finally my map is created and done! Let me know your thoughts?

So finally 3:42am in the morning and I am finally done and satisfied with the Procedurally Generated Map I have been working on. Phew even though I didn't have to do the graphics etc that took a lot of time getting it to finally look how I wanted it too after much trial and error! It was tough but I finally feel satisfied and happy with it! I will include the specs needed to play on this map but please keep in mind this map was made to be a challenge!


Spinos and sarcos etc on the beaches as well as pegomastix and dillos. There is actually a lot of danger on the beaches but some awesome areas for beach side bases! It is alot of beach/water area as I wanted a heap of water on the map so there are alot of flat spaces for building along the beach or inland however nearly every area has 2 or 3 spino spawn locations so will have to be careful about not wiping those out but one or two areas shouldn't hurt there are so many lol!

There is also a redwood and snow biome area too and the redwood goes right up to the sea in some locations! Either way will share some pictures below and video record a fly around tomorrow to show it through video! I haven't started building yet I just spawned in the pteranadon to be able to fly around and check out the map and make sure it was how I wanted it.

thanks! This map is actually based around deep water! Pretty much all the pools are deep and there are multiple spinos populating the large pool areas! Only concern would be loss of these due to people building on the flat ground! As I haven't tested building yet! But there are so many spino spawns you would hope they don't get wiped out lol! But I really wanted a map based with heaps of water! And to provide challenges through that as alot of beaches and inner land is occupied with baryonex and spinos and sarcos etc! Quite dangerous the beaches are but I really wanted to make a map thats challenging for players from the begining and as you said spinos are alot more agile in deep water hence why I made the water areas deep! Heaps of Sabertooth Salmon too lol!

Thanks as said above I went through alot of illiterations with what I thought was a successful map then found I needed to make a few small changes when exploring which again threw out the whole map as I was so close to being finished so many times but the map kept changing in ways I didn't want it too! So glad I finally got it to work out!

Lol yeah unfortunately I couldn't get rid of the hands since I couldn't use Nvidia Ansel to take the photos so I did what I could!

In Single Player go in and see the settings I put in above?? Click on the procedurally Generate map tab and it will open up Procedurally Generated maps! Then the settings hit the reset to default button.

Once its reset then use the settings I posted above and put them into each section required and do those adjustments! Ie: Seed = 999 Just follow along and reset each type of setting to that area and volia you should be able to generate this map on your singleplayer game! Hope this helps am currently working on a video and have a few more pictures coming from this map soon!

Thanks its under Host Game the button just under join game! The Procedurally generate arks button is above where your maps show in the box! After you set up this ark you just boot it up from that box as it saves the name into that box under the center/the island/scorched earth etc

I did post process the final pictures a little because my Nvidia Geforce Gtx 960 4GB GDDR5 2x OC Windforce Edition Graphics card doesn't quite make the high settings its a mix of Epic Medium and high settings with full mesh etc. Hope to one day be able to afford a better graphics card that allows me to play on epic. As these pics wern't as impressive before I post processed the images to make them look better! So thats fine if its not as good settings! I just hope the map turns out the same!

You can use the command ToggleGun for that:
