SolusUmbra
I made a stair case in my house to go all the way up to the ruff, at the ruff I put walls, ceiling and door-frame/door to seal it off. However I have to crouch to get in and out of the door. Does anyone else have this problem or know a fix for it?
XxLienxX
Often got that the only way i found it's for 2 heigh building : put a second doorframe/door and you will go through without crouching... i didn't find anyway to do it other way...
Teddansen
I recently found out if you press select (on Xbox) or the button that brings up your map while placing items it will cycle through the different snap points. On ramps or sloped ceilings there's two points... A higher one and a lower one. Put it on the lower one and you should be able to walk through with ease ... Hopefully . I must say that after fighting with the snap points for the last year and a bit i might have pee'd a little bit when I found out about this little trick lol
redastrayfreedom
This has happened to me. I gave up and just built an extra area of wall above and placed a door instead.
brenon45
It might be a pain but i encounter this quite a few times, my solution was build down, not up. Every one knows the build system ark uses is very flawed so what usually works for me is plan to build downwards... Its annoiying but so far i havent encountered buggy doors or off clipping slopes or floor heights being short, only downside is i cant really use foundations.
