You can't use them for shadowmanes. The only non-wyvern things that can be leveled that way and that I leveled that way are magmasaurs and basilisks - which also can do friendly fire, and shoulder pets, which get a share of EXP their carrier gets so I just killed things myself and the pet benefitted from that.

(Official PVE, Valguero) Again, I started with a milk run, before even unpodding the wyverns.

Found a nice level 60, trapped, tranqed, milked, killed. Checked giga spawns on my way both there and back, no plans, just out of habit.

Unpodded and fed wyverns. Imprinted giga and carcha (carcha's name is Blizzard now). Pretty sure I won't get full imprint on them due to skipping an entire day back when the event still lasted, but whatever. They'll be pretty strong in any case, I don't think I'm even planning to use the giga, and carcha's only going to be used until I get one that's same but with blue spots.

Fed dinos, bred tek rexes (nothing good).

Killed previous carcha since Blizzard's nearly adult now and will soon take over as both the color breeder and (temporary)main carcha.

Fed gachas for a while, a bit went into generators, and 13 whole pieces into the vault.

Podded wyverns and that's all for today.

and after taming it that is exactly what i got 215% melee, 39 pts, my best so far, but since i already mutagened one that had 38 pts (43 after mutagen) i am not going to waste 99 mutagen on the latest just to get one more level in melee

so now i have to find a carcha doing 150 damage to my mana to increase my chance of getting a good melee carcha and hopefully get more than the average 10 bonus points for taming,

let me dream a little bit here 260% - 80 + 75 (15 bonus points) = 255% (47 pts) + 5 mutagen =52 , dream on

at the moment my best stat are  hp 44 (mutagen) stam 36 weigh 39 melee 43 (mutagen)

but for now i will take a break till we get 2x  or 3x rates again, because taming at 1x is a pain on official, had to use 4 baby rex and elixir to tame that 150, while you can tame one with just one baby rex and elixir at 3x and get 100% effectiveness

In the morning, (Official PVE, Valguero) Imprinted carcha and giga. Bred sinos, realized one of my females was a low-stam. Not sure how I missed that. Killed her, one of the good stam female eggs will replace her once hatched and grown.

Just now, (Official PVE, Lost Island) Went to try for some wyvern eggs. Saw a 165, but poison, so left it alone for the time being.

Went looking for lightning. nope, nope, nope. Couldn't check everywhere - some spots were too close to wild wyverns. Found one... But level 25. Nah.

Grabbed that 165 poison, flew away as fast as my tropical could carry me.

While looking for a beacon to upload it at found a decayed base. Looted it, but only a little bit (can't exactly take all that metal with just a low-weight tropical).

Uploaded the egg.

Returned, checked for eggs again, found a 50 lightning one. Took that, escaped form wyverns, uploaded egg and loot, hunted, returned home, fed dinos.

(Official PVE, Crystal Isles) Hunted, fed dinos.

(Official PVE, Valguero) Carcha and giga are now adult! Saddled carcha, podded giga.

Hatched sino and mut carcha. Podded carcha for later, put sino with the maewing.

Bred carchars, nope, wrong back color and melee.

Downloaded eggs and loot. The poison is decent, the lightning might stay if it looks good (can't be sure based just on color squares. Need an actual look).

Mainly struggled to find Rare Mushrooms, I usually get a few from crystal deposits but either it's different on the server I'm on, or RNG hates me today. Babysitting a Carno was also interesting, and finding out my Tek Parasaurs got a taste for blood and attempted (and failed) to kill a Brontosaurus. Ark continues to amaze me.

(Official PVE, Valguero) Unpodded wyverns. hatched the eggs, too - lightning doesn't look good, went into the leveling fodder fridge. Poison's okay, gonna raise it.

Filled a maewing and unpodded the carcha.

Went hunting with Blizzard, even killed everything in the ice part of the wyvern trench. Got her plenty of EXP.

Returned home, took milk runner ice wyvern, went to get milk. Got it, went back... Just in time! My hunt took long enough that the weakest lightning wyvern was at just 4 food! Fed wyverns.

Took down the rex breeding stand, since it doesn't really serve much of a purpose as retrieving rex eggs is just as easy with them on the ground. Not sure why did I ever build that thing and kept it for so long.

Bred gigas, nothing good.

Fed gachas for a while, most ele went into generators.

Podded wyverns. Might check on carcha in a few hours, but in terms of more or less serious playing that's all for today.

In the morning, (Official PVE, Valguero) Checked on the carcha and imprinted him. Decided I'm tired of all the wild procoptodons hopping around my base, so extended the leash holding my arthros to a maximum range. now they won't miss anything that spawns there.

Just now, still Valg, of course: Imprinted carcha again (he wanted cooked prime fish, I didn't feel like rerolling, so I fished with a net).

Unpodded wyverns, went to get milk. Milked two, just in case.

On my way back spotted a 180 female tek rex.

Fed wyverns, went back for the rex, tranqed... Thing is, I didn't remember the rex's colors and since tek rexes are so rare I didn't check, thinking there's no way there's two on nearly the same spot. So turns out I tranqed a 120 male one.

Found the 180, tranqed her, too. Tamed both. Neither has stats better than what I already have (except stam. The 180 had some decent stam. But it's not particularly important), so not fit for stat breeding. Might keep the 180 for colors, she's nice: dark gray and blue with white lights. Podded them both.

Bred gigas and my actual, breeder tek rexes, nothing good. Bred blood wyverns, same.

Fed gachas for a while, some element went into generators, rest into vault. One gacha ran out of pellets entirely.

Fed wyverns again and repodded them, and that's all for today.

Swamp Fever is a pain to cure when you conveniently can't get all the ingredients. On one server, had the Whooly Rhino horns, Rare Flowers, and the Narcotics but couldn't find any Rare Mushrooms for several Ark-Days. Then we uploaded to another server and now we have everything but the Whooly Rhino Horns. Maybe Leech Blood is eaier on this map, we're tired of having all our stats decreased. I can't even win a melee fight with a Dilo. And even if we cure it, we'll need to stockpile more antidotes for he inevitable of getting it back...

Podded my previous breeder male and put the newly-grown one in his place (maybe I should sort my podded dinos again at some point, kill off what I'm definitely not gonna use and not attached to, free some space up... Or maybe just install couple more fridges).

Bred carchars, and the pair I'm trying for colors with, too. No success with any - color pair yielded yet another wrong color, and no second melee mut on the serious ones.

Fed dinos.

Spent some time feeding the gachas. Gave bees more flowers (I REALLY should make more repellant).

Took Blizzard (current main carcha), went hunting. Killed two alpha raptors, one alpha carno, two carchars, a giga, an alpha rex, and a bunch of ice wyverns. Got her to 300% melee!

Returned home. Podded wyverns. Topped generators up from the vault, don't feel like feeding the gachas today.

(Official PVE, Valguero) Unpodded wyverns and took Blizzard on a nice long murderwander. From Beaver Lake, to and through the snow (ate some ice wyverns there. Delicious!), then tundra, redwoods, and finally back to Chalk Hills. Killed lots, got her to level 199 and made some progress towards 200. Encountered no alpha dinos, though. That's a pity. Not even a raptor.

Bred her to Toxic Rage again, and cracked the egg again. Wrong colors and melee.

Repodded wyverns and that's all for today.

I lost my basilosaurus to 40 megalodons in the cavern of lost hope only to find out the only way to get all explorer notes is by ascending which as a solo player who doesnt play on the island is a pain.
