Started off by building the small lodge I marked out in the main base out yesterday. Was also a small test build for the build I planned for the soon to be built water base. Gathered all my stone structures together and flew to the east coast on my weight wyvern to start the waterbase. Threw down all the behemoth gates to ring the island I had chosen and also encompassed the waterway which will be our water pen. Then marked out where the main building, teleporter pad and kibble barn would go with thatch, which took a bit of fiddling, its not the flatest of spots. Built the main building to my usual specifications, one day I'll actually come up with a a new format. Converted the design slightly to use greenhouse walls and ceilings, I really wanted the build to take in The Center's scenary and it also opened the build right up. Think it came out really well. Stuck down the Tek genny and put the Teleporter down. Now I just to fully furnish the build and start the kibble barn when I get a chance. Also need to grind out a tek behomoth gateway to replace one of the stone ones as the main gateway in and out of the base. Might even build a small bridge just to connect the island to the main land not that a bridge is really needed considering how shallow the water is. We just need to do a boss or two and we can be self sustained on TC (my new acronym for The Center from now on..which also happens to be what we call this homeless camp in town, bringing my property value down....) Got you addicted to those tek gates now hey?? Hah Checked out the water pen, beautiful. We're really taking the 'Go big or go home!' Approach on our bases this time @Snipsnip Awesome progress man, im glad you stuck with it If you can transfer a kit to The Island, along with some ghillie + scuba - Do the Swamp Cave. Hit a note or two before, then dive in and you will be 100+ (105 is soft cap before ascension) in no time. Use a Baryonyx or Carno for first time. I was going for a paste run shortly after logging in, coming back up from.the lake below when my wyvern is hugging the mountain coming back up and I accidently flew into this cave system behind the waterfall at our base! Its a giant metal cave !!! How did I not see this before?! Cleared it completely took 2 trips on the mantis, 6000 ingots later. I spotted a nice pure green 150 rex on my way out, kited it into my taming pen. Came out with decent HP, 10k. As I was waiting for the rex to tame I went and grabbed some Tek bridges and bridged our main area to the new cave I found. Then threw a bridge across the big gap to the other side as well. ( Be careful in this cave.. theres like 5 ways to fall down to the bottom of the lake.. did it 3 times not knowing) The cave system leads behind our base and it branches off down to the lake, which is an actual cave with spiders bats etc. Spent a lot of time exploring said cave and mining metal, over 10k ingots. Meanwhile all this was happening as I was feeding the gachas collecting obsidian. Tamed a few dinos too, a 140 allo and a 150 allo. The 150 allo had 600 hp more than our line. Also bred up some.ankies, combined the line to level 240 then got a blue body mutation! (Speed or something..) Imprinted up a personal Anky and combined the allos to a better mating pair, then made eggs with the new 150 to hatch today. Placed more vaults and other base stuff. Tamed a 150 beaver on one of my trips for paste. Been debating completely foundationing off our base area, killing our metal spawns in the base.. The reasoning: I put a pack of extra Allos to guard the far side of the base, theyre doing great killing lots of spawns.. The only problem is they keep rotating the spawns and after a long afk session I came back to 3alpha raptor items in their inventory! Over one single hour I was afk... freaky. d1nk Posted March 3, 2019 Share Posted March 3, 2019 Spent a lot of time farming yesterday. Love having metal this close, easily can go fill up my Weight Mantis in our metal cave. Also did quite a few paste runs, crafted a few hundred element we had in dust form from The Island (and the many alphas from here) and foundationed off our base almost completley. Seems ive killed most of the spawns in our base, now its just the occasional sabretooth or such. When Saltire logged in we did some hatching and I made a tek genny, teleport and some premade base bits. We placed a public teleporter on the small island beside Skull / Batman Isle. Also made a public tame pen there. I decided I wanted to start searching for an Allo Bp ( @SaltyMonkey you happen to have one?) It seems the only spot is the Water caves on the island (even so, unconfirmed) Ive never been so Saltire kindly escorted me through the hard water cave. After he logged I did a swamp cave run, transferred 8000 paste to TC, then did the easy water cave solo. Very easy.. I just have a hard timr actually spotting the crates! Back to TC, just did some base stuff, filled all the plants, switched new plantx on and collected gacha crystals until I logged. Seems @AngrySaltire has been busy hatching Allos and we got a 2nd mele mut. Im going to tag them seperate incase we need to clean lines later. Got on and saw there were some new Allo breeders, started making a bunch of eggs for muts and went for a metal run. Threw down an Owl egg I had in a fridge, turns out to be from Saltires line, imprinted that up while hatching Allo eggs. On my second batch I got a Cyan belly oxy mutation! He didnt have the second melee mut. Set that aside and hatched more eggs searching for muts. Imprinted 3 allos and when the blue guy finished, bred him with my good females. On first batch of 10 got a mating pair with all stats & muts, 260. Set that line aside my regular line for colour options. Cryod a bunch of dinos around the base, cleaned up, killed off old breed lines and logged out after making a big batch of Poly. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

D1nk seems to have covered most of last night. Had great fun in the hard sea cave with d1nk (hadnt realised you hadnt been in before), its so much easier with two folk riding mate boosted basils rather than have doing it solo with a whale on follow, especially considering the unridden basils AI refusal to fight at depths. Grabbed the drops and of course the artifacts. I know the easy water cave and their drops lile the back of my hand. Cyans the dream..... nicely done In case you hadnt noticed I like anything blue or cyan ?Just need to get a nice body colour mutation to get rid of the ugly green colour. Got back on in the evening (somehow missed d1nk) to find the nice new cyan full stat breeders ready to go. Started up stock pilling and hatching some eggs. Did a quick metal run on the mantis in the cave by our base and my word that was an adventure and a half, I usually only find one or two nasties in there. Went round a corner to find a 145 alpha carno so I avoided that part of the cave. Went round another corner to find the biggest pack of sabers/raptors/scorpions I had seen in there. The Mantis saved my life, the raptors kept pouncing me. The mantis took a beating but it cleared out the nastys. Back at base I started hatching more allo eggs. Started raising another female to help with pumping out more eggs. I eventually struck gold with a pair of twin (male and female) muts, a nice golden yellow spine colour with another melee mutation (up at 343% now). Wasnt sold on the yellow to begin with , I did like the standard black but the yellow is growing on me. Would look very nice if we were to get a nice main body colour mutation. Then I went to rag and proceeded to try to build and failed due to horrendous lag. After I went to different rag servers scouting them out because that server just was a not a good one. Spent several hours starting a castle build, with most of the foundations placed down, and the main outer shell of the core building constructed. Pretty much just waiting for S+ integration before I progress the grounds but the core building still needs plenty of internal work. As my Ragnarok server will be getting wiped next month, I’ve started the long haul of making dino and item transfers. Realising what a big job it is, I’ll be making many sacrifices for dinos. With our new cyan/gold generation of allos I am definitely at the limit of my breeding knowledge, I normally dont get to this point in the process. They are now hatching mutations above 20/20 on both sides but as the parents are not at the limits (about 15/20) I am unsure sure if mutations are still posible. I had a go anyway any at hatching some up just in case. I have a few wild allos cryod in the fridge, saved em for this just incase, id say since we havent gotten a HP mut id use the wild with the hp stat, less to worry about Ive done this with the rex line too, got two clean partners in the fridge (incase you wanted to search for rex muts) Once we do get a clean allo female, just clone it for more egg chances Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Honestly not sure about the lines, never got that intensive personally but have helped my old tribe mates with that. We will discuss it more in PM. Weekend was ok, still raising 3 Gigas (nearly 80% done now) 5 Wyverns (65% done) and a 257 Allo with Blue and Red scales on Center. I want to get that over on to my 272 Allo, but Im not holding my breath as I am trying for muts on the Pteras still but getting worthless ones like Oxy - pah! We hammered out a couple of Ele veins and a Purple (or Red, whichever is lower) and amassed enough element to start our new building on Extinction. I guess we will play a bit more over there now. Abberation, I finally have a 310 Spino raised now (unlevelled) so I can join someones boss run as I really cant be bothered doing all the gathering on Ab like we do on Center and Rag as there are only 3 of us in our little Tribe. Ill pop on tonight as I need to feed up a lot of the dinos as I was lazy and didnt get round to it last night but other than looking at the kibble rework and looking at how I can re-do my fridges (thin Ive 8 full of kibble) it will be interesting to see which kibble Ill be short of - I like the organising side of things. Nah I am single. Not even a girl friend.... am so lonely.... Dont worry I have no plans for any massive builds in the main base. Funy you should mention about a castle on Rag. I was planning on sonething low key, maybe building in one of the ruins on the islands ob the east coast. But when I ran my own server I built a massive castle with creative mode as a community thing for PvPing such as jousting and sword fights. d1nk Posted March 7, 2019 Share Posted March 7, 2019 Woah, we were on page 5! Finally got a little more time tonight, logged on TC. Went for a fly about looking for Allos (and testing this DC glitch everyones been talking about - all good) and spotted a 45 Alpha Rex outside our gates a bit. Hopped on my imprinted Rex, went outside and immidiatley got ambushed by two alpha raptors! Working together, what a team! Killed the Rex with ease, man their skins are nice. Be nice to get some of their colours. (Typing this I wish I remembered to bring a taxedermy tool!!) Deposited the stuff, cooked some prime up and went back out. Killed two more alpha raptors and went back to base. While I was picking crops the server booted. I tried a few times to get back in then went to rag. Cleaned up more dinos, building pieces etc and transferred them to TC. Tamed a 130 Allo I saw, made some foods for the new kibbles, a few new kibbled then went back to try TC. As I logged in the server mustve rolled back, I was on the ground mid-fight with the 135 alpha raptor from earlier. Anarki Posted March 8, 2019 Author Share Posted March 8, 2019 After the freezing update I said I would wait for a few days before returning - what I didnt know was that I was going to be in hospital with a septic bursa in my elbow. Not sure how it happened but it was incredibly painful and unable to move my entire arm. Antibiotics and anti-inflammatories have started to work but I think I will only pop on to see if these supposed fixes have been implemented working properly again. I wouldnt mind starting on a new line of Allos this week as I spotted some All Black with Red plates at someones base nearby the other night... 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
d1nk Posted March 8, 2019 Share Posted March 8, 2019 (edited) Logged in and did my usual fly about first off. Once again, two alpha raptors outside my gates.. this time a 135 and a 150. I swoop down on my wyvern and start biting. These litte things were doing 250-350 a hit!! Took my wyv down 1/4 hp quickly (12k hp wyv) so I go inside get my rex. Dispatch the two alphas and just as I kill em a third! One joins in. Jeez! Took my pack of allos to Get some paste and on my journey spot a 145 and 140 allo. Get back to base, grab the 145 and knock it out. Built a bit with s+ while it tamed, enhanced the breeding barn a bit. The allo stood up with better stats than our current allos except HP.. Immidiatly started breedibg it with our mutated ones to get some higher stat clean ones. Success. Combined all the stats eventually .. now just colours! SaltyMonkey Posted March 9, 2019 Share Posted March 9, 2019 (edited) The Center - Private Xbox Cluster Must be my 5th consecutive day playing Ark and the new S+ features have revitalised my desire to play more often. Continued on with my castle build on north tropical island. Must have torn down the outer wall and towers 3 or 4 times before I was happy with the result. Those 4 walls really do make it much easier so I settled with an outer perimeter of 8 walls high to house my kibble farm and small/medium actively used dinos. I can finally start mass transferring my base stuff and dinos from Rag, so I’d expect to be on for many more hours to come.
