Finding Tames Original lvl

How would you find out what the tame lvl was for a tame from its current lvl and the xp bar?

Or is it even possible to find out what its wild lvl was?

If you go to the creature level chart, you can count backwards to see where the dino was tamed based on the current max xp.  To figure out what level it was wild, you need to know if it was a 100% perfect tame or not (99% is more likely).  At 100% the tame gets 50% of it's base wild levels added automatically.  Therefore, a lvl 100 rex with 100% taming efficiency will become a lvl 150 rex when you are done taming.

Also, we put every dino's tamed lvl in their names to help keep track of their max level.  For example, our therizino is named "Spirit Fingers (224)" which means he tamed at 224, and will therefore max out at 295.

Level itself is pretty easy to figure out as @JoeBob1024 described.

However, the real info what you surely want to find out is the stat at level 1 - because the stats decide if a dino is good or not.

There is a quite good tool, named as Ark Smartbreeding what can help you reverse engineeer your dino's stats. Its not 100% foolproof, but gives usable results.

I especially like it's feature, what takes an ingame screenshot and OCR the data from it.. so you dont need to type ANYTHING :)
