PsychicShark101
Thylacoleo and the Titanoboa So, I am an Xbox Arkster, and I was wondering; are the taming calculators correct when they say that the Thylacoleo take Titanoboa kibble? If it is true, do you guys on the pc have any tips for gathering Titanoboa eggs. When Ark fist came out for Xbox, I was able to find a bunch of Titanoboa eggs quite often in the swamp and the caves. In the recent months though, I have noticed a swift decline of the spawning of the Titanoboa eggs. And on a side note, is there any news on when we will finally be ableto tame those frisky snakes that enjoy climbing in the trousers of my phiomia. DomiDarko
I always find 1-2 eggs on my runs through the lower south cave but I would only spend them on a max level Thylacoleo. For any other I'd take cooked lamb chops.
Jostabeere
I find nooblets.com to be the best and professional tutorial guy on ARK. If you have Scorched Earth, do the same in dunes.

I was under the impression that the egg farms should be only fenced, not built. Maybe ramp up and then drop to the ground. Eventually I'll give it a try, if this even works on official... Harrist14
I'm surprised people are actually willing to spend titanboa kibble on the thylacoleo. I mean, it looks kinda cool, but the videos I've seen of it haven't impressed me.
Volzke
Tips for pve players. Snakes can be lifted via grapple hooks. Just make sure you're not too close when you grapple them because they will be in bite range when you take off via quetz
CrispedDegree5
i know this is an old thread but you can use a lasso i think to drag the titanoboa, even on pve

It was a real pain getting eggs from those critters. But, yeah... Now we "just" tame a snake and get on with it

You'll want to have someone in the area for a while for eggs to get dropped. If they're tamed, grab an Oviraptor and that should help the process. I'd also recommend sealing in your boas in to prevent folks from rolling by and snatching them from you.
