DanHyder Posted February 2, 2017 Share Posted February 2, 2017 This a story of what happened last night on Xbox 1 PVP Server 111: My tribe, ARK Marine Corps, was trying to finish building our base. A man by the name of Waktu (a lvl78 who seemed to only level up his melee damage) kept knocking out anyone who would wander out on their own, and feed them either feces or raw meat until they died. This way, it would never be apparent who killed that player. We all got sick and tired of this, so we eventually made a plan. A tribe remember would volunteer as bait, and others would lie in wait for the attack to occur. As soon as that tribe member was attacked, we all sprang out with tranq arrows and bola balls, ensnaring Waktu and knocking him out. We then took his unconscious body to a 2x2x2 stone pen we use for pteras, and force fed him narcotic, berries and water from a jar for a good 1 1/2 hours. Someone eventually made the joke that we were essentially taming a human, and we all got a roar out of that. We started posting it in chat so he could say, and decided to name our new tame Fred. Fred was a member of a tribe named "The Black Hand", a tribe of trolls it had seemed. And it appeared he would have his retribution. Mere minutes after Fred awoke, his tribe mates began a raid of our compound on the back of a quetz, using rockets and sniper rifles. In the ensuing chaos, Fred, as well as most of our other tames, were killed. We made it out with two tamed raptors and nothing but the clothes on our backs, and moved to server [REDACTED]. Vrallox Posted February 3, 2017 Share Posted February 3, 2017 I think the problem your tribe ran into is that berry taming a human takes too long. I'm a bit hazy on the kibble recipe though.
