All looks very cool... but when do us Linux and Mac types get the update??? Can't get onto any official servers as I'm out of date now :(

 

*edit* I notice that it's not just version 254 out today, but 254.1 and 254.2 have hit as hotfixes already. Given that I expect the non-windows clients might be a bit of a wait. Dang, I was really looking forward to getting on tonight.

When is the insane lag and ruber banding going to be fixed? It is beyond ridiculous i think you should prioritize this rather than adding more busted content Mmmmmmmkaaaay.I have a low ping to server list but when I get in game it is 200+ and it is not just me it is everyone.

Nah, the game looks too childish. It's made for boy men. Guys who still think like a jr. high boy. That said I like this survival genre and I'm excited to see what other games develop with this theme.

I can only pray that someone figures out the console commands to either learn the tek tier items or generate patterns for em and I can hand em out to everyone on the server so I can bypass this bullcrappery. GG ruining the game devs.

I can't say I agree. I've seen low number tribes defeat bosses on Youtube. My wife and I beat the broodmother way back before the arena (granted it was easier then because we had lots of time). However I do recognize that it is much harder because Alpha tribes can impede your prep and progress. But as a solo player, it is mostly out of my reach, but that's not new. I don't expect to be incredibly powerful. Small tribes should NOT be as strong as a large tribe. That would be bad game balance. If you work together you should be able to do things faster and easier. I personally choose to not do that, but my expectations of what I can do are balanced with that. This game is 'capitalist' rather than 'socialist' in nature. The strong get stronger, and the weak stay weak, unless the strong help out. I find that dynamic really interesting. As well, in my single player game, I like that I have huge challenges ahead of me and that it's not easy.

What about some new Servers for the returning / new players? :) (Some that you can not transfer to from all officials like cluster or ORP servers?) (I wanne come back :/:D )

Maybe fix the lag and rubberbanding ? Best solution they could implement to make sure players keep playing and don't go to some other games.

That's a good way of looking at it, though personally I'd much rather either create a rebalanced version for single-player mode, or give us the ability to do so with .ini changes.

Mac version now available in Steam. I suppose the Linux version as well, as apparently:

Thanks for making this one of the best looking Mac games (I run on full Epic!) and keeping it in sync with Windows, so I can play with my friends.

But don't you think that the way things are now makes beating the bosses sort of pointless? I mean you do it once for the trophy, but after that, there is no end game really. This adds a nice dynamic and reason to progress.  It also diverts alpha attention and resources a bit, probably making a bit of space for some other tribes to rise up.
