Suggestion on how to find deep sea loot crates

Hi all

 

Any suggestions on how to find the right spots for deep sea loot crates? Not that easy without GPS :-) And i actually never did look for them when i played non-primitive, so i have no idea even how they look except from pics or just a rough idea where to look :-)

I spent many hours on single player mode to assemble this list. I used a GPS to find the locations, then took screenshots of the horizon at the water surface. Not sure how much longer we'll be playing Ark. Many of our guild have given up due to the terrible development problems on P+. So, I'll share my work with you and save you a dozen hours. 

So you take your raft or spino or whatever to the location and match the horizon to the picture. Swim down and find the goodies. There are 18 spawn locations. One on each of the 2 volcanoes and the rest under water. Note number 10 and 11 are very close together.  I recommend you put a gate frame near the drops when you find them so they are easier to find next time. Just don't place directly on top of the drop.

Coordinates are listed first, then the cheat setplayerpos commands, which can be used in single player mode to get close to the locations.

I get why people are stopping, but i am playing single player and sitting the problems with p+ out. Or at least hanging out a bit longer. But it is becoming very frustrating! At least at single player i can do stuff in my own pace :-)

I wonder what the loot table is like? I'm new to the prim+ world and found a shotgun in a yellow cave drop. :\

Loot is similar to what we got in the santa drops during Christmas. We got a riot shield blueprint from the drop on the volcano. Today I got a mastercraft sickle. . Typically we get a piece of armor, journeyman to ascendant. Perhaps I'll start a log of loots. It's better than you can currently get from fishing, but it's a whole lot of work.

You can google ark deep sea loot drop locations and you will find a map detailing all of the locations for every map with gps coords, you can also block (with foundations) any spawn points so that the drops will always spawn in 2 locations(On center map i blocked all the underwater ones and kept the 2 on the volcanoes and went and got them every 40 mins)

Prim plus tip: find locations on normal ark and get a land reference point, go onto prim plus map and take rafts to line up with reference point, land on raft with newt and go claim reward.
