JetJaguar
Twitter says: Evolution Event: increased 1.5x Harvesting, Taming, & XP Rates are live now on all platforms until 12PM EST Monday, Jan 16th! So if servers are 1.5 normally, does that mean everything is now 3x? So when youre on Dodorex, youre adjusting a tame to 3x modifier? Help me understand
Banemorth
Servers are 2x permanent which Dodo Dex already accounted for. So to calculate on their site use 1.

So to calculate on their site use 1.5 Well now Im more confused. If the servers are currently 2x permanent and Ark is boosted now by 1.5 due to the Evolution event, is the server now then 3.5? Meaning using 1.5 on their site would equate to 3.5? Sorry..
Banemorth
No. Since 2x is permanent it's the new 1x. Dododex has the 2x hardcoded so it's already factored in. It's now "3x" the old rates or "1.5x" the new rates. Put in 1.5 to calculate throughout the event.

Volunteer Moderator GP Posted January 12, 2017 Volunteer Moderator Share Posted January 12, 2017 It's simple. All official servers are now x2 by default. However, the setting is still 1.0, it is only the value of 1.0 that has doubled. Dododex's 1.0 is the same value as the games new value. So 1.5 is equivalent to what would have been the original at 3.

I put messaging in the Dododex app, all over the website, in the app store notes, but it's been tough getting the message out to everyone.

Was a tad bit confusing at first, but now I think I have the hang of your app. Thank you so much! Also, I'm having issues with reporting a data error with the Achinita (Sp?) on normal rates on offical, it required one more cake to tame my level 10 (8 cakes to nine cakes) than what your app said. No biggie, just wanted to let you know. Could be something with the cool down of the cake.
darkfelt
The confusing part was in the server select screen where they used an old graphic that stated 2x for this event. It is not 2x. It is 1.5x of the new standard rate (which is 2x of what it used to be). SO yeah. Put in 1.5x in your calculators.
