Kwormie
Wondering how some of you have been managing your servers remotely? When creating a dedicated server we have the option for a Admin password - where can we use this? If you wanted / needed to reboot your server remotely is this even possible now via the Xbox one? Madlax72
I just set mine up last night. I am using the Xbox App in Windows 10 to access my remote Xbox Server. What you need is a static IP address for your xbox or you do port forwarding. Mine is hosted in a data center, so I have a static IP that I can use. One issue I had is that a controller is required to operate the xbox. I connected my Xbox One controller via USB to my laptop, and although it installed the drivers it would not work. I then tried my old Xbox 360 controller and didn't have any issues. When you set up your server make sure it doesn't turn off after inactivity. It's not possible to turn it back on remotely. Somebody has to turn it on manually. Happened to me. Oh, well. baby steps :-)
