CyberVic Posted November 21, 2016 Share Posted November 21, 2016 ShadeCrest is an established gaming community that has been online for 6+ years and runs various sandbox gaming servers. We own our own hardware and run on a hosted connection out of Montreal, with very small ping times throughout the US. Our head of staff brings 17+ years of experience in running online servers and communities. Since April we've been running, testing, and balancing the settings of our ARK servers with a close group of people play testing them. We have opened them up as an unofficial cluster to the public. TheIsland and TheCenter are fresh maps (as of 11/20) and procedural is as fresh as of the v2.0 release of procedural. We've loaded a bunch of mods on the server, have a custom beacon setup, difficulty 8, reasonable multipliers (3-5x), and overall seek to balance the game around a prolonged PVE experience with a feeling of smooth progression over time. We have a welcoming community with a teamspeak server, forums, and active admins. Our admins will moderate territory disputes and people in general being a pain on maps (such as unneeded pillaring). Overall, this is a pretty new sub community, so suggestions on changes to settings are welcome.
