Tekcor
Hi there Ark Forums, My name is Thom McGrath (or just Tekcor) and for the past few months I've been developing a tool called Beacon to make editing loot sources easy. I've been running the alpha on Reddit, but today I pushed up to beta and it has been suggested that I announce the tool here too. Beacon is 100% free and open source for Windows and Mac. You can grab the beta from https://github.com/thommcgrath/Beacon/releases/tag/1.0.0b1. Just a quick note about this beta. It is not code signed yet, so Windows will give you that ugly yellow warning when you run the installer, and Mac will give you that "unidentified developer" warning. On Mac, you can launch it by right-clicking the Beacon.app and choosing "Open." I'll buy the necessary certificates before final release, but this is how it is for now. There is a small tutorial on the project's GitHub main page: https://github.com/thommcgrath/Beacon - the final release will have real documentation. Feedback is welcome of course. Failoe
I've used the alpha of this tool and it worked fantastically. I'll definitely be using this version as well. Awesome job.
tommy290
This is an amazing tool that has saved me countless hours. It's very intuitive and makes it easy to customize beacons. Making and saving your own item sets is one of the best parts so you don't have to add the same things over and over to each beacon. It's also very simple to tweak things if you find drops aren't working quite as expected.
