  2. I feel like this is a bit of an obvious one, but would add so much to the game. So currently, predators just wander around eating anything and everything constantly. Herbies just wander around pooping and waiting to die. It would be cool if creatures had schedules of sorts, like a time when they sleep, a time when they eat or drink, hunt, or try to mate. Predators would only eat when hungry, herbies would actively avoid hunters when they sense them, and they would all have nests and territories. Maybe herbies would travel in herds, etc. Probably just the biologist in me speaking, but i feel like it would add a lot more to the game. Yeah, it'll have performance costs, but equally on 1.0 setting, there are faaar to many dinos anyway. Half it , or even less, to make it more realistic, and it should help maybe?
  3. It's no secret that the skins market in all games is a great success and in Ark it will be no different, my suggestion is that you introduce an individual skins system, so that we can buy and trade skins on Steam, a system similar to that of CS GO, this way you will have a continuous income with paid skins for the game, without having to depend on DLC's, so the game will always be profitable, meaning that you are always supporting the game without depending on paid DLC's, don't forget to Give me all the skins if approved xD I have an average of 37k hours in the game, I know a lot about the game, bugs and so on... if you want any help, add me on discord and I will be reporting bugs in the game to help the team my discord: whoisbrunobarreto I already made some suggestions to fix Mesh in 2018 at the extra life event, which were implemented in the game. I spammed the suggestion at the time on discord and the whole community started sending it to the chat too, you must remember.
  4. I don't know if anyone still reads these, or if these get considered for any of the new ASA content, but I had a thought about wyverns the other day: Could we get a "fix flying trajectory" toggle for wyverns? This would be similar to the way the Amargasaurus can be toggled to run in a direction independent from the player's camera facing. Essentially, the idea would be to allow more controlled strafing with the breath. Set the wyvern on a path and aim the breath, which could help control post-attack trajectory and avoid putting the wyvern face-first into the ground (or other surface) during/after a breath attack which, in turn, would allow players riding wyverns to make full use of the fire and lightning breath attacks.
  5. Sometimes it clears if you log out and go back in again. But a death option would be helpful just to make things easier.
  6. Many times being trapped in the terrain, or resurrected in someone else's pillar, or in a home built at the resurrection point, it is a long process of waiting to die, and it is impossible to use anything stuck in the terrain, so the polymer is useless, and you will not carry organic polymer at all times
  7. I can't see any beneficit for dying humans in the game balance. Maybe die for a player, tame or defense make lose EXP can be interesting but i'm not going on that way. We just need to prevent dead servers with one big tribe that easily can avoid new tribes to grow up. Most of the ark players will not join big tribes and they deserve a chance to grow up
  8. :') storyline bruhh. Learn the storyline. We are the pc and basically npc. People don't understand the depth of the game. There is nothing on the ark besides us clones. Now Helena in her journey met other people and tribes. They are suppose to represent us as players and all the different types of people that play the game. Some people like taming (Mei ling), other waging war (Minerva), other like to dabble in mutations (Rockwell) other like to explore (Helena). They talk about tribes whom have never seen a cave and don't feel the need to even explore the arks to finish it. They just wanna enjoy life. Reason why ark 2 will have npc. Is because we are basically invading another planet with dino's so the storyline allows it.
  9. Multiple action bars. So that the player can determine different action bars for different times, such as one for construction, another for fights, another for any other reason he wants. Something like the image, where there are as many action bars as possible listed on the side. Maybe being scrolled with ctrl + scroll. To hotkey, choose them just by leaving the mouse above the item and pressing the hotbar number you want (1 to 9, 0) two times. So, the item goes do action bar or appear in it case it's blueprints.
  10. Make it so that Metal Ore will smelt to Metal Ingots on a 1 to 1 ratio. Currently, it is 2 to 1. This fix would make it so that almost every item crafted with Metal Ingots would take less grinding to craft AND would remove the annoying left-over Metal Ore.
  11. I think this is a great idea and something I know I've had issues with in game as well. Hopefully its addressed even with the move to UE5 but more accessibiltity would be great.
  12. I’m hoping that ASA will have better accessibility features compared with ASE. The biggest issues I have is the font size and the size of engrams and hotbars. Another problem I have is with reading the white text on a blue background. i’m hoping that there will be options to make the fonts larger (larger than current largest size in ASE) and potentially an option to make text bold. it would also be good to be able to customise the color of the UI (so when you open the implant) and then have a colour best suited for you.
  13. If ARK adds dying of old age to tames, wouldn't it ALSO have to apply to humans as well?
  14. To make a fair game between old and new tribes, tcause the dinosaurs to grow old (die of old age) and for some level of generation to be infertile. This will cause 2 side effects 1 - Large tribes will lose dinosaurs, closing the gap a little with new tribes. Today it is absolutely impossible to compete with a base that has been well established on the map for years. 2 - The late game will need to recover the experience of tame new dinos every time, to expose the players to enviroment and pvp and keep the tribe entreted. I will suggest the same for structures: 1. Decreases damage resistance over time to constantly need repairs to get back to 100%. VERY BIG bases will need more work, keep players entertained in maintaining the base structures and defenses making a chance for new and regular tribes to exploit these weaknesses against less frequent large/old tribes.
  15. Any changes to the decay timers so casual players can take a vacation? This is major issue to me. My way around it was to have tek generators and cryofridges directly on the ground and Tek storage. That way you could be 30 days off and still retain most of youre dinos and storage. I say most because you will still lose youre stryders. Another thing I dont like is the per structure decay. You cant make a tiki bar without fear or losing the structures in 4 days. The minimum decay timer should be at least 7 days on all structures. The lack of cryofridges/cryopods at launch is not helping either. Its like all they want is to have hardcore players than can be on 24/7 ... what kind of business model is this??
  16. Hello guys, I hope you are well. We are a group of young Arabs who love the game. We request that the Arabic language be added to the game in the near future, as it is considered a feature to attract many players. Best regards adham
  17. I have always wondered why the kings of gathering in the real world have no gathering function at all in ark. Would love to see this in the game .
  18. I've heard from several sources that ASA will not have Small tribes on launch. But when researching have found zero information on the subject to claim either direction.
  19. Hi how are you 🦖🦕, team of wildcard , I am making this suggestion because I think it’s really unbalance , a person has to farm 2,3 days for bullets and someone also comes with an stego and runs directly to you base a trows a rocket 🚀 and the whole thing goes down with hundreds of bullets this makes bases defenseless .. I think the turrets should provide alittle more of a “protection” to your base while you are off line , my suggestion is to make dinos who are tanking way slower like an 80% to 90% movement speed decreased so the person who is raiding can’t rush bases like that and actually has to take the time to raid a well build base , and a bigger chance for the person getting raid to get online and defence the base they took a week to build … this will keep more players active playing the game because more bases are going to be standing 😊 and only not well build bases or unprotected bases will go down fast , thanks for listening 🙏
  20. Creature like this is better suited to upper ocean levels as opposed to the depths, keeps it out of competition with the Mosasaur as well.
  21. I have said it before and I will continue to say it. NPCs WILL NOT improve the game. If you want NPCs in your ark go find a mod. Sorry but it's gonna be a hard no from me. Stick around for Ark 2 and you can have all the NPCs you want probably since its supposed to be more story driven?
  22. Maybe something rarer in the lake and more common in the ocean. Perhaps Kronosaurus? Tylosaurus?
  23. What does this mean? The meta of the game won't shift because of human AI, they'll get stomped even harder than actual people will.
  24. Dear Wild Card, I know it's a bit late for a feature request for ASA, but I'd like to bring up what would be the best feature you could add to ASA: A checkbox that disables controllers. Some may bring up the "Deactivate Gamepad" button that appears in the escape menu whenever a gamepad is detected, but I would counter that with the following 2 points: 1) This button simply changes the UI from the controller UI to the KBM UI. As soon as a button is hit on a controller, it switches back to the controller UI, and the button appears again on the escape menu. And 2) This button does NOTHING about the force feedback vibration functions of an attached controller. If a controller that has vibration is connected to your PC while the game is running, it will respond to all activities that trigger vibration within the game regardless if the controller is being used or not. What I'm proposing is a means of disabling controller support entirely within the game's settings menu to prevent ALL interactivity with controllers. Yes, it's a very minor issue, but it's annoying. It's especially annoying for me as I often times will have both ARK and another game running simultaneously. Often times, the other games I will have running I play with a controller. The irritating part with this is the fact that even when focus is lost, controller inputs are still passed to ARK, so both games receive inputs from the controller. (There's a LOT of sitting and waiting in ARK, even with boosted rates.)
  25. Xbox players can just log in with their phone during lunch/break and imprint/feed.
