Hey I Bought ARK LONG AGO and it was on my brother steam account, he isnt playing ark but is playing other games so I asked Him to share it with me so I dont need to buy it again, but when I try to log in I keep getting this errror '' Shared accounts cannot play on this server". How to fix it please? I saw one fix was to add AllowSharedConnections=False in server settinngs in GAmeusersettings ark folder, I Did it but didnt help. I also tried writing true instead of false but didnt help. Please help me fix this and play ARK on SERVERS

i honestly dont know why it was listed as a dlc there i added some clarifications to it @GP

lol well thats perfectly ok to feel like that is your opinion but im not poor and i have money to spend. Its a pretty popular trend nowadays. Maybe you should stick to older games lol if you don't want to embrace the future Paid transactions have to be made mainstream for games to survive the high demand for content and updates.

That's talking about a new DLC in Q4 2023 which obviously never happened. On the official roadmap image it just states Ark Survival Ascended Surprise for Nov 2024. During ExtraLife last December Jeremy just referred to it as a surprise but that it was gameplay related. He then went on to say new canonical story DLCs will come after all ASE canonical maps are out, which would put it after Gen 2 in 2025. So what you quoted is not necessarily related to the surprise.

All i'm aware we've been told is Jeremy said it is gameplay related. So am curious if New DLC is correct or an error?

I would be happy with a game optimized well for PC and console, VR is pure utopia

rather than protecting you from high temperatures, shadows could be useful to avoid sunstroke, the high temperatures of a desert cannot be mitigated by a little shade because it is the air itself that is hot, but if we are talking about the shade of a large rocky wall then the shade can have an effect on lowering the temperatures, however for heat stroke the thing is different since it occurs mainly because the sunlight hitting the head damages the brain by overheating it

a mode similar to turret mode but which allows creatures to move. An aggressive version that allows creatures to attack all threats on sight would be equally nice. I would add this sentry command which brings the creatures into the neutral mode you say, however if the player subsequently uses the aggression command the neutral sentry mode changes to aggressive sentry, this system could make the creatures left to defend their base much more dangerous

i've moved my character back to the island on single player from scorched earth and my base is red names and cant get in.

I'm running a crossplatform server on Nitrado. I am getting dino levels that are divisible by 5, but also ones that even numbers: 8, 32, 78, etc. I have MaxDifficulty=true and DifficultyOffset=1, OverrideOfficialDifficulty=5. As far as I can tell, that should be giving me the 5, 25... 150 I'm expecting, but it's not. Is there a bug, or am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated. ETA: To be clear, I'm talking about adult dinos, not mutated babies with more levels than the parent.
