The Great Migration & Xbox UWP

When loading up on PC the Session List is blank and the notice on top has been changed to "ARK's Official Servers are down until approximately 10am Eastern for upgrade to v267.  Looks like a major upgrade which will likely require a client update/restart.

Update is out on xbox ? We can start downloading now?

yeah i saw someone downloading it in a discord, big update though, will take a while

How much later? I get they could be as dishonest and unorganized as they wanted during early release- we signed up for it. It's carrying over to official release now and they should probably find a way to be on time with something or it'll be only legacy players on these new servers. New customers are not going to have the patience and understanding we have become used to affording WC. They will just return the game.

WC, tell please why the server "Hardcore-EU-ScorchedEarth729" disappeared. it is not in the wipe list. But the server is offline for more than 11 hours. Did you delete it?

When you say ALL, are these pvp or pve or like ALL official servers are full?

They probably changed their minds because they realized that the original plan wasn't going to work. How many of those servers on the chopping block were dead servers, DDOS servers or duping servers. I know of at least three on the PS4 list. I doubt Wildcard was just like you know what screw the players who helped us improve our game. Now that being said I wish Wildcard would give all players who played on legacy servers something cool and unique like an item skin or a special engram to learn something cool and unique. 

Not happy...still not a single official server to join on xbox one...not 1. Not even a legacy server. Am i the only one with this issue? Its not pre release anymore WC get your s... together this is how your official release date goes?

@excessevil you are correct on all counts. Wildcard can do whatever they please.  However, the players or as you would say "complainers" don't have to like it.  And they have a right to voice their opinion just as you do.  

Wildcard did make  "promises" that they are absolutely allowed to take back (and clearly they did).  That's why people are upset.  It's not a beta issue - it's an integrity issue. Wildcard can and should do "what they want."  But, they shouldn't mislead their customers.  Had Wildcard said - FAIR WARNING we're wiping all the servers in 6 months when we launch the game -- people would have been annoyed, BUT wouldn't be questioning the integrity of the devs.

Attempting to call people out for expressing their opinion isn't helpful.  Feel free to express yours but maybe try to stop getting so salty with everyone.  They're not wrong about what's happened to them.

i got this on ps4, xbox, and pc convinced at least 8 people to buy it early and support you all to find out were unsupported i hope this game falls off the map back to H1Z1 for this guy   

Jen... you stated that Prim+ Server 3 & 32 had been removed from the list yet every server is back online except those exact two... you've got me worried Jen!

So I just tried to launch to my legacy server that you guys said would stay open and it's no where to be found why did you just say that to shut people up or did you guys mess forget to put it up

I had a really difficult time finding my 2 public servers and the one private server I play on.  My survivors doesn't exist anymore, nor does the history of my game play. The servers don't come up on the official, non-official, favorites, list, even when "legacy" is selected.  I had to go back to the forums and find posts where I had luckily put the full name of the server in my messages.  I copied and pasted the names in search with no filters and the servers came up.  If I hadn't done that, I would have never found them.  

It seems that adding them to the favorites list doesn't work either.  The favorites don't save.  I'm on PC, btw not console.

None of this is fun, devs. It feels so shortsighted to focus ONLY (or maybe mostly?) on new players, new servers, and new money.  If Wildcard isn't able to provide the resources to do the work that needs to be done, just say so.  It would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure you can take your legacy Dinos to legacy ragnarok servers. But if you think for a second they should let imprinted bred Dinos from the last two years onto servers that are a day old then you deserve to be on a legacy server. Besides it sounds like you and your buddies took a game in the testing phase way too seriously and completely misunderstood what the GAME PREVIEW program really is.

Just another flaming post of the countless ones I've read on your profile, you are so disrespectful to everyone with a counter viewpoint or opinion contingency who do you think actually respects or cares about your opinion that much that you can just barf it up at anything you don't like? On the other hand the legacy server population is/was so toxic I've actually enjoyed the thought of their fate much more then a "wiping" the more I think about it the more it makes sense. You think they didn't see or understand what was happening?

So you are ok with losing all "imaginary stuff and dinos" that took around 2 years of people's time to build and get, but you are asking for "imaginary" "something cool and unique like an item skin or special engram".  By imaginary I mean "digital in-game content", which seems to be what you are referring to... 

The truth is that US legacy players are being treated like crap, I dont think there are not a lot of popular game previews like ark, that consume SOOOO much time and planing, this isn't a rank, a CoD prestige, these are things that took a lot of planning and time and that is why it pisses people off, if Wildcard is going to create an open world of building/creating and taming you cant expect people not to be pissed off when they realise they can lose it all and "meh, just go start all over again"...

About half of my ark-player friends are leaving as soon as Destiny 2 launches, which will be on Wednesday as they say, not half-way launched, or days later!

Thanks a lot WC, EA takes my money but at least I get to play.

Flaming is an adjective better suited to the few posts that left so far..... Many people understand what is going on, but few voice their opinion. Also, love how inaccurate and irrelevant your opinion is of me. Should you need further clarifications or need to get something off your chest about me, feel free to message me, since this thread is not about that.
