Yay! An article came out right when I most wanted it!

I wish for an urban ruins map.

Always good to see the communities creations, really inspiring! Everyone has done a great job as always and I'm sure there is plenty more where it came from. Keep up the great work guys.

 

Sadly there's nothing on P+ for Xbox release. Last word on it, as far as I know, was one of the WC team saying it was a few weeks away on twitter. Now here we are a few weeks later! Well patience is a virtue, so I'll wait. Although I'm definitely looking forwards to its release and when it does, I shall master cooking and building, Hazzah!

That would be interesting, to say the least. Although the main problem for that is that there are now assets for modern structures. So a Modder would have to make them in order to do so.

A slight beef with this. CiTyS's dossiers have been featured before in an earlier crunch. In other words, you've only shown one new fanmade dossier, excluding the Mysterious Mysteries, props to him for figuring that out.

 

 

Also I could go off on a certain rant about CiTyS's dossiers, but I wont.

It's turned out to be significantly more complex to properly package up P+ for console release than we anticipated. Basically, can't have 5 minute load times on console,  

(But yes, we have some of our engineers working on it every day and it's getting done, should be submitted to Microsoft soon -- it's requiring some new technical pipelines to package it up in a manner that we can maintain without having every Xbox update be 4GB -- Xbox updates aren't packaged with per-byte differences like Steam updates, but rather only per-file which) 

Looking forward to playing P+ on Xbox with ya soon,

I love that you guys post stuff like this and give fans props and feedback, but why don't we ever hear anything for the ps4 version ever?

its because the game is in development, and both xbox and pc have early access programs and sony don't, wildcard could only release the game on ps4 when its fully finished, which is now set for around Christmas I think. Blame sony for not having a early access program.

My problem with it is that we dont hear a single thing about it. We just want to be updated on the progress thats made even if its a short sentence like "Its looking good"

indeed I know what you mean, sadly tho with all the bugs with xbox last patches, I suspect we are a very long way off a final product  . Suspect final product q1/q2 2017 , that would be when ps4 version comes out. You will be getting sotf soon tho hopefully.

Gees, thanks for clearing up the reasons. Really looking forwards to it.

I've been getting on ARK every night in hopes of the update. An Allo pack would really help with this herd of Brontos on my island. Seriously...like seven Brontos across the cove from me, and two more on a small island a few feet out of the cove. I don't have the means to tame a Rex yet...

They say they cant have 5 minute load times on xbox.  Its great and all that my xbox loads it quickly but its a 5 minute wait for pc to load.

By this i think it means that xbox doesn't allow a game to sit and load for 5 minutes, ie session timeouts.

Or that MS QA has a maximum load time for a game, else it can't pass QA. Both of these are probably wrong as I ain't no expert in this area.

Either way, I'm just glad we got some info on it.
