    ARK_Carcharodontosaurus_Promo_2560x1440-l.jpg

Charcarodontosaurus will make a triumphant entry to ARK with a noteworthy set of abilities that puts it in competition with ARK's most feared carnivores!  With a notable taste for blood, Charcarodontosaurus will become more frenzied as it gets its fill.

    Dossier_Carcharodontosaurus-1920.jpg

    Common Name: Carcharodontosaurus
    Species: Carcharodontosaurus medicupestis
    Time: Late Cretaceous
    Diet: Carnivore
    Temperament: Aggressive

    wild.png
I feel lucky to have crossed paths with Carcharodontosaurus medicupestis and lived to tell the tale. Though I’m not sure if this predator grows bigger than a Giganotosaurus, I hope never to find out. Just one of these bruisers held its own against an army of us, and that encounter cost us dearly.

Carcharodontosaurus can sweep aside attackers with its tail, but it’s the other end you’ll really want to avoid. It has teeth like steak knives, set in jaws strong enough to shred most prey. Even a near-miss will carve you up, but good.

Like its namesake the great white shark, Carcharodontosaurus gets more dangerous once it tastes blood. Each kill seems to give these monsters a rush and drive it into a berserker frenzy.

    domesticated.png
Anyone that manages to tame a Carcharodontosaurus will gain a new way to rally their tribe for battle. There’s something about this monster’s roar that drives others to fight — a war cry for Hell’s own army.

The more tactical tribes will let their Carcharodontosaurus tear through the mid-sized creatures in their enemy’s ranks, thereby building up its bloodrage to take on the largest threats. Talk about shock and awe!

Carcharodontosaurus will make its way onto the ARKs later this year!

it look amazing!  Hope it will be as good as it sounds :)

*Though I’m not sure if this predator grows bigger than a Giganotosaurus,*

To me that sounds like they don't stop
growing.  maybe they will be in different sizes in the wild??

It will be a passive tame and you need all Missions from GenOne and GenTwo to feed it with wyven milk. (I love the crap mission system)

If they stick to realism it'll be about the same size as a rex but not as bulky😐

How will it be on single player and when you tame it does it have any negative effects like the giga on attacking allies and yourself?

I like the design. But i feel like it´s way more than people have been asking for. sounds like it will be some Kind of Death Star of Khorne, going full berserk and being the size of a giga.
But that´s just the Sound of the abilities. let´s just wait for it´s stats and taming process.

Hopefully it has access to the Boss arena

it will certainly not. if it´s really the size of the Giga it´s drag Weight will be too high.

The size comparison bottom right corner of the dossier suggests it will be even much bigger.

I sincerely hope its not a direct upgrade to the giga, if it is than thats kinda lame. i hope its a yuty and rex situation where the yuty has great abilities but doesnt just overshadow the rex in combat. please leave the dps to the giga and let it does something else cool.

So to clear any confusion, it will be on most or all maps - 100% being on Genesis Part 1 in the Bog Biome since thats where the teaser takes place, it will be tamable and rideable, it is between the size of a Giga and Rex and at least by the looks of it seems like it has a very good chance to be allowed into boss arenas. And since we know that ARK listens to the community (eg. adding the carcharo, letting the community pick dinos, adding the bloodshed feature for the carcharo which the idea was made by a member of the community, etc.) it shouldnt be extremely difficult to tame like the Amargasaurus, and by the unfortunate chance it is hopefully someone like Captain Fatdog will step in and make one of those cheap, easy, and great traps like he did with the Amarga to make it super easy.

I hope they will allow this creature to spawn on Aberration. Since I don't like aesthetics of other maps, Aberration is my main map choice to play the game generally but restricted dinos are pretty sad for an Abb player.

It's going to be "slightly" smaller than the Giga. So i'd say it is extremely unlikely that it will be allowed in the boss arenas. Which is fine because Yuty does that job perfectly.

this thing sound fun as hell, hopefully the taming process is worth it, and i imagine its probably going to be just as much of a pain to breed as giga.

The only large theropod on ab since its introduction was the spino, I doubt they'd change it any time soon.

Surprise surprise, it's just bigger Giga with a touch of Yuty.

Crazy how people harped on sinomacrops and dinopithecus overshadowing other creatures abilities but most are silent about this creature innit? It's basically a pack lead allo, giga, and yuty rolled into one creature but there's not been a peep from the people who once fussed. Really activates the almonds.
